I mean that own their own shops, and do a great job? I'd love to find one that needs some investment cash.........think of the possibilities. :wink: <not THAT, you perverts>

<only half kidding>

The only one that I knew of stateside was Annie O, and she passed a couple of years ago now.

There was a Gracie Cues overseas that used to post here in the Cue Gallery, but she caught a lot of flack for doing direct copies of US makers' designs, and has not posted for quite some time now.

I am not aware of any others. I had toyed with the idea for a while a few years back, but decided that there are more than enough makers now to feed a overall slumped market, and didn't really need one more.

Same here, I spoke with Annie a few times, she was a nice women who loved to talk about cues. She had some designs that I really liked, sadly though we never ended up doing business together.

There's always Laurie Franklin, owner and builder of Southwest Cues but I doubt if she needs any investment cash.

Hello Lisa, how about the Girls down at Beads and Billiards in Federal way, Washington. I though Jessie was building cues, she is in the 3rd Edition of the Blue Book of Cues making a cues under the Trade name Todd Custom Cues.!!!!

Do you have any information?

Well, as an owner of many business start-ups (now retired broke by playing pool, Hold 'Em, and other childish endeavors), and can say with certainty that any woman that does good work will sell MANY more than an equivalent man. This isn't PC or sexist or anything, it's the marketing that could be done.

Get you a lathe, Lisa, and start making chips!

Jessie told me she was working on a jump cue over the summer. I told her I'd swing by to check it out when I'm back in town. I'm sure she's got some regular cues though.
