Beat the Black Widow Sweepstakes

That's no real incentive. Now if I could slap an APA patch on her forehead and as her WTF makes her think she can act because she can play pool instead of dinner with her. Then I'd probably join thousands of times :)

That is cool. I don't hate really anyone, just certain individuals really get under my skin. :)

Dartman,

Second prize is a McDermott Handcrafted Cue, approximate retail value of $650.

I'm a little curious as to why the McDermott logo is on the top right side of that link.
JL had a contract with McD many moons ago.

Good catch. It helps to read all the rules I reckon.
Still kind of interesting to me that JL and McD are featured in the same promo.

lemme see i am like a rank 2 in APA and i figure she would be a 9 or higher ... yeah i think i could do it ... hah... =P

I tried the LW cue at the BCA show 2 (or 3) years ago.
This is what I thought of it > :killingme:

I'm sure some gullible peeps will pick one up due to the slick marketing.
Here's the video they played at the show - http://www.wikicover.com/LiquidWick_Pool_Cues
Where's the cue in the video besides being used as a pole. How much did they pay JL
to endorse it? Where is there a thread on AZ claiming it's a great product?
I thought it had a funky feel with the sand or whatever they use inside it but
have to say the marketing plan will surely generate some sales.

... and to bitmore in post#13 - we sell proven quality products and I doubt
anyone here that's made a purchase from us did it because of slick marketing or a sig link.
Excuse me for sharing an opinion after having actually picked up one of those cues.

D-man,
Do you suppose any of those "gullible peeps" will pick up some table felt or washer toss games that you are advertising in your posts???

I'm sure YOUR products are made to a MUCH higher standard than the Liquidwick product you mention....errr wait, you didn't actually mention WHICH Liquidwick product you tried (they have several, targeted towards different markets)......errrr, perhaps you could share your vast experience with the LW products before we give your criticisms much credence.

I think most forum members appreciate a thorough review rather than a dismissive put down.
