I posted a while back about this guy that has been posting those GW series production cues and a few Fury's and calling them "high dollar" around the Seattle area... I used to create postings in reply with links to what he was really selling and they always got removed...

So I finally decided to contact him.

Here are the two adds below:

http://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/spo/1497862644.html (this is a Fury)

http://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/spo/1497860328.html (this has the AWESOME UniLoc joint!!)

Here's a few quotes....

I will give you an honest piece of advice... DO NOT BUY A CUE STICK UNLESS IT HAS THE "Uni-Loc" Joint, as the Uni-Loc Joint is the very best when it comes to the most secure and tight fitting joint possible.

If you want one of the best cue sticks for playing on a pool league then buy one of these... as I guarantee you that you will not find a better cue stick for the money!!!

I guarantee when you see these cue sticks in person that you will definately buy at least one of them.

These cue sticks are better than most of the $1000 cue sticks on the market today!

Here's an email I sent him...

Dude.... That's a cheap(ish) production cue. There are ZERO inlays on that cue. And for the record, the Uni-Loc joint was the WORST joint ever made... There is a reason you never see them.

You're a used car salesman when it comes to cues....

Here's his responses (all in seperate emails...) His email address is dapskis@yahoo.com - feel free to chime in...

Email 1: TAKE A HIKE!!!!!!!!

YOU DON'T KNOW A DAMM THING WHEN IT COMES TO CUE STICKS!!!

My response: The fact of the matter is you are trying to rip off the uneducated pool population - period.

I know more about cues than you will ever. I own joint protectors worth more than what you are selling...

You've been preying on unsuspecting people trying to pawn off Fury cues (in some cases) as custom when they are $85 production cues... You're what give pool a bad name.

Email 2: YOU ARE THE BAD NAME BUDDY... MIND YOUR OWN F.. BUSINESS AND TAKE A NICE HIKE TO NO WHERE!!!

Email 3: YOU DON'T KNOW A RAT'S ASS ABOUT CUE STICKS!

Email 4: THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS THAT YOU ARE A HARASSIER!

Email 5: I DON'T CARE WHAT THE HELL YOU THINK!

Email 6: AND NOW JUST BECAUSE OF YOUR UNJUST REPLIES... I WILL SELL THESE CUE STICKS EVERYWHERE I CAN FIND TO DO SO!

Email 7: Your email address has now been blocked AND YOU WILL BE REPORTED!!!!!!

Email 8: YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT

Email 9: YOU ARE JUST PLAIN STUPID!!!

Email 10: YOU ARE JUST PLAIN STUPID!!!

Email 11: HA HA HA HA HA ~

Email 12: YOUR BLOCKED......... DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Email 13: HOW DO YOU LIKE IT?????????????

Wonder if he has a chemical imbalance....

So of course after his barrage of emails, I went back and flagged his postings... Anyone else feel free.

Worse than anything, this guy is preying on the newer players, the ones that are to help grow this hobby/game..... Doesn't look too positive to me.

Anyone around Seattle know this guy?

I sent him a email asking about the first cue, just to keep him busy for a while. LOL
This is definitely worthy of a bump.

I bought a big fat ZERO.........I want to know who the famous Las Vegas builder of the first cue is LOL. I'm still waiting for the reply.

Wow, this guy is quick. Here is the reply.

As listed in description: it was made by a professional cue maker in Las Vegas, but I don't remember his name.

So......I asked if there was some pics of the butt end or forearm showing initials or some typ of logo. Waiting again.

Blocked

I'm really mad that you got blocked because I didn't know that about the Uni-loc joint,
and was hoping you could broker a deal for me.
You never know, those GW's could be the collector series

U should ask him if it was made by I.P.Freely....lol!!

What do you guys want to know about the first one?

:grin-square:
He did get it in Las Vegas. But it was not made there. Unless there is a Las Vegas, China
It is a #4002 made by KaoKao with no logo.
Same factory but I don't think Fury ever had it as one of theirs.

1pRoscoe some of what the man says is true. It is not a decal cue. It is CNC inlay. The Ivory he speaks of is Not elephant tusk but I believe Walrus bone ivory or something.
You are right about the $500 projected value. :shocked2::yes: Waaaay to High. Retail would be about $180
They are well made and nicely finished but I don't like the joint.
If I had that model I would be getting $125 delivered.
Here's are some other pictures of the same cue.

Bone <> Ivory

The joint is what made me think Fury. They both have that funny pin and use the same style jps...

Still a ripoff either way you look at it...

I told him there wasn't a single inlay in the other cue he was selling - which there isn't... :D

Thanks for at least wasting this guy's time!!

I friggin hate scammers. I took a minute to flag the weasels posts.

Eric >out em

I clicked the link to view his listing and they have been removed by the author, lol.I wonder why he removed them??

I have seen these cheap cues on Craigslist ads also and what a ripoff.

This is also another person in the Seattle area posting on Craigslist looking for old cues. He shows pictures of very expensive cues he is looking for. I wonder how many collector cues he has picked up for hardly anything.

What kind of cue is this?

I bought it from a professional cue maker in Las Vegas a long time ago.

I read that but I was wondering who made it.

I have the cue makers info. somewhere, but I'll have to find it, as I bought this cue stick a long time ago. It's one of the niciest cue sticks you will find and I guarantee when you see it and appreciate all of the high quality features it has that you will buy it. Dave

It would be great if you could find the cuemaker's information! Is his signature not on the butt? Thank you

apparently you're not interested in seeing it... so stop wasting my time
Wow, defensive much?

Ask the seller which way the threads go. If they are clockwise they are north of the equator if counter clockwise they were made south of the equator. If the joint has not been made in your current hemisphere ask him for a coversion kit. Every pro cue maker in Vegas knows this. ;)

Both links in the OP now result in "This posting has been deleted by its author."
