It you listen to the Chatters. They would have you believe Fla, CA, and NY, were the HOT SPOT for 3C. It Gotta be MICHIGAN for 2009!!!

Reasons:
1. Steve A. Held One of the Biggest 3 Cushion Tourney in Wyoming, MI

2. Wyoming,MI have one of two 3C leagues [I awared of: Carom Cafe the
other], Plus Straight Rail.

3. Bill Johson held two 3C Tourney in Warren,MI Both Live Streaming.

4. Curlyscues and MI_Billiards [sde] created Live Streaming for all Three
3C Tourney in Michigan.

5. And soon to be New USBA President: Mr. Dieckman from Ann Arbor, MI
area [actually Manchester,MI]

and keeping Members [ and NonMember] aware of what USBA is doing.
One of the Best Secretary/Treasure USBA Had.

Now Look At This Comment from MR. DeeK-A-MOM found on the USBA Public Forum:

"Would certainly hope the current board would do all they can to assure Tacoma is live streamed. I will do my part by personally kidnapping both Curly and Steve, locking them in my van so they can't escape, and driving them and their stuff out there and back to see this happens. If anybody else would like to see this happen then I think some private donations to Curly Cues, not the USBA is in order. Right now I have committed to paying for 400 gallons of gas to get us there and back as well as a REALLY CHEAP motel room for the three of us while we are there. I am not going to be feeding them."

Funny, you should mention that. I spoke to someone that will go nameless who would like to have the Nationals in Grand Rapids, Mi in 2011.....you ready for this.... and simultaneously run a UMB international event at the same venue.

This person knows money people but isn't a money person himself.

I don't know what you know about Grand Rapids, but there's major money here. We have over 15% unemployment(the highest in the country)but a very rich subculture.

You may have a point but I'd assume most of the work would be paperless and all the info on the internet for reading.
No hard copy will be published. Also it would be cumbersome to issue checks and verifying the expense to all the contributors,
eventually and hopefully in the 100's. If someone has a hundred pounds of documents that need to be scanned and
can't afford or doesn't want to pay shipping costs to the committee then maybe there's a petty cash fund that could be dipped into.
