Supadra Boonpasook-Geronimo's Video Interview

One reason that I don't put a link in the thread is that for a while my posts were being bumped and I thought that it might be because I was putting in a link that was going to another magazine site. I'm not sure but I haven't put in the direct link since.

As far as subtitles, it isn't really possible now because of time constraints. If you need anything special, please contact me at go4pool@gmail.com and I will get you anything you want.

Thanks,
Jim
You never fail to ROCK! Thank you, Jim :)

Ok so my best friends and husband made fun of me tonight of how I answered the question that asked me where was the furthest tournament I went to? My answer was " 6 hours plane ride and 2 hours shuttle...I think it was....(pause...thinking) OREGON. LOLOLOL I'm laughing at myself too!

The truth is though I was trying to think of the city that we had the tournament in Oregon but I couldn't think of the name of it so I just said Oregon. It is actually Lincoln city. So now STOP LAUGHING AT ME!!!!!

peace:grin-square:

Supadra,
I thought it was funny too, but only in a very good way. The fact that you have mastered English so well in only 9 years is a real tribute to your intelligence. That Oregon thing has only to do with the way you think about the country, not having grown up here. Every time I have a little fun with someone else's English, I always think of how much Thai, or German, or Chinese I speak, and I get the real perspective that everyone really knows when they are having fun with you. I know you understand this but I thought I would just add my appreciation of your accomplishments in so many areas.

Supadra,

I would love to hear how you are able to juggle the pool in your life with family responsibilities, job, et cetera.

With a job, family, et cetera, how much time are you able practice? Do you have a mentor? And is your husband supportive? I'm sure he must be, but I would like to learn your take on juggling pool and family and work.

Thanks! :)

:) I am lucky that I have a very very supportive husband to support me 100% of whatever I want to do, pool, work or school.

It's been a struggling to jungle all these things at once because there is not enough time in a day! But I have to give all credits to my husband that he has always taught me to level priority in things that you do so you know how to organize and do things in order of importance. Smart man huh? I'm lucky!

Jim!!

They couldn't stop laughing at me! :( You are so lucky I'm nice! :)

Yeah it's funny and my OWN HUSBAND laughed at me too! Oh well...at least I didn't do the New Mexico thing!

Great interview.

What an amazing smile!

You did great, Supadra! I learned a lot during this interview, and I've known you for 8 years! So props to the interviewer as well for asking great questions...

In addition to improving her game dramatically in just the last couple of years, Supadra heats up a mean Costco garlic bread. I've been on the receiving end of her runouts and her appetizers. Good stuff, both. ;)

Supadra,
Congratulations on your marriage.
I enjoyed your interview, you did a wonderful job.
I'm happy all that practice at ABC is paying off.
Best,
Ken Kerner
