Is this case of good quality?

pictures of the inside would help... so its hard to say.

as far as cases just about anything is "ok" not like your throwing your cue around like a nut.

personally i prefer vacuum sealed cases like its george ron thomes gtf ect...

Yeah because I am traveling around different countries playing pool. And due to the fact its not allowed to bring your cue/cue bags as a hand luggage up to the aeroplane, you'd need to put it as a cargo, and eventhough you put it as "fragile" luggage, they'd still throw around the thing, cause I've got a cue on a USD$35.00 case, my shaft starts to crack and shit. So yeah I'd surely want to know the quality of the case.

And as for vacuum sealed case, I've never seen any one of these cases, only zipper ones, is it tight? cause maybe the cue might fall out during the flight or something. =P

But yeah the one I'm eagerly planning to get is this one here:-

But I am shortage of money, still saving up. Cause I feel its unique. =P But yeah feel free to give your personal opinions and suggestions.

I think it would make a great travel case. I don't think I would want it as my everyday case, but for what you need for traveling it would be perfect.

So you'd think it would provide the quality to withstand the flights and all the bumps during flights? =)

Not sure about that. The case you mentioned in the first post is obviously a Whitten knock off. Why don't you save up the money to buy a real Whitten case? It might take you a little longer but the Whitten will last you the rest of your life saving you money in the long run.

Yeah I know, I would. But I hardly see any "new" whitten case for sale and ships worldwide. And for the price of the new whitten case, its much higher than what I actually wanted - Limited Edition Predator Case by Longoni, however I do not know the quality of the product, which some of you can give me your opinions on, a member here is selling it on ebay,so yeah you can check it out here:-
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT=&item=130352228023=

Cause if this case above is really not that good in quality, then I might overthink on getting a whitten case.

My Opinion

No, I would not get it. It looks like vinyl, not leather. I've seen cases like that one, and I, personally, don't care for them.

And $35 shipping??????? A case normally ships for $15-20.

If you look closely at the picture you can already see the "leather" (which is probably vinyl) is wrinkled.

On one of my videos we did a review where I showed a Whitten knockoff and during the video the shafts got stuck in it.

My one of a kind Joss cue fell THROUGH a Whitten knockoff when the bottom gave out and the cue slid through a ring of nail points.

Don't buy knockoffs.

If you like the look of a Whitten then buy a Whitten and you get the look, the quality, the peace of mind and the inner satsifaction that you have bought an ORIGINAL to go with it.

Whitten's reputation rides on building top quality protective cases. Knockoff artists like this "Delta" brand are only riding on Whitten's reputation.

Whoever is selling this case doesn't care one bit about you and your cue. The reason that they can offer a cheap knockoff is because they cut corners in the constructon.

It looks like a Whitten and that's all.

If you buy one then you might get lucky and it won't harm your cues and stay together for a long time. Then again you might not be so lucky. Either way you're gambling and you get the pleasure of walking in every day knowing that you want the look but weren't prepared to work and save for it.

Ask the Delta people if they will throw in some fake Rolex watches with case. At least the only danger there is that they might turn your skin green but they won't harm your cue.

That's funny.
I bought a George case from a guy in Singapore.
When it arrived I told him "if I had known it was going to be this easy I would has asked you to throw in a fake Rolex"

As far as new cases go, I like JB's layered case.
Looks like a tank disguised in a designer body.

Many of these type of knock offs have become well known for promptly falling apart. So much you can't see. Bad glue jobs, cheap stitching, end caps nailed into cheap particle board or balsa wood. Understand your $ concern & you need something now.
Contact koinkid, Seyberts, Omega, pooldawg, Sterling, etc - look at banners on top of forum. Tell them what you need, what you plan to need it for, and what you have to spend.
Sterling has a tube case that has stood the test of a lot of AZ'ers, there's also Porper, etc. Don't run into the dark with your money.

I have that case- the one on ebay. It's a very nice case actually- all leather and almost exactly like a Whitten. Whittens are supreme but even used plain 2 x 4's are about $300. If you are interested I have one in all black would sell it for $65 They do have spring loaded tubes like Whittens. I also have one in all black but vinyl. Both are 2 x 4s and I would sell the leather for $65 and the vinyl for $50 and $12 shipping. The vinyl case has spring tubes also. If you take the "whitten knock off" factor away. An all leather 2 x 4 case for $65 is pretty good actually. PM emails for pics.
Pics of the vinyl case....

I saw this case on ebay, and wanted to get it, is the price worth it and also most importantly how good is its quality?

I personally think it that it is too expensive for a Chinese knock Off case, these cases cost around $38 wholesale, so $105 is way out of line.

The cases below are the best you can by in the above price range!!

Here is what I would recommend for the money, this case has the same interior tube construction as the Instroke, and the exteriors are very well made. I sell these in my store and my customers are very happy with the quality. The case is made Vincitore and distributed by J&J America out of California.

Here is a link to the ebay Action

Here is another link to all cases by this company, but please remeber not all have the same interior some of the cheaper ones do not use Tubes.

Hope this helps

i agree with this post, dont buy knock-off's. they have zero resale value(almost) and who knows how well it is made??? You can shop around and find good deals on used cases made buy repitable case makers if you try to

the 1X2 in the bottom pic is almost exacly like one I bought in 86 for $110, Mine has the Fellini clasp on it, but the exact leather, I carried it for 5-6 years everyday to the pool room, It still looks 98% new. And I bet I could sell it for $110 today. This is why I reccomend buying name brand cases
