Delta Rack

I recommend it - I think it does give a tighter rack. It's noiser though.

What was the sales price ?
They have 2 which one is best for the money ?
I want one but don't know which one to buy...

I recently bought a Delta 13, the regular not delux, from BigTruck. He has about as good a price as any and it helps to support his live stream.

I like the rack. It does help make the balls tighter together. The cloth on my table is about 35 years old, there is a little wear in the area of the rack but the balls get tighter than using the original wood rack.

It is noisy but I like the sound. I don't think that the noise would keep me from buying one.

Look on the Delta 13 website. They have a package special if you want to spend the money to get the delux rack, cue holder, cue lean and a few other items thrown in.

I can also help with the package deals for your game room.

Thanks Book!

Thanks for the info! I found the delta rack on e-bay for $39! Now I just have to decide which color!!

Why risk e-bay when you can buy one right here and support live streaming of pool events at the same time?

Executive Billiards' pool "room" packages, and noise suppressors for Delta-13

Why risk e-bay when you can buy one right here and support live streaming of pool events at the same time?

I agree! Had I known you carried the whole package (e.g. Delta-13 Elite + cue rack + cue lean + wallmount hook for Delta-13 Elite), I would've gotten it from you, Ray!

But alas, I got mine about a year-and-a-half ago, so methinks this was before you got Executive Billiards as a sponsor.

If anyone is asking about noise suppressors for the Delta-13, you can obtain those from AZB'er "Chalk Shark" as described here:

Every AZ's should support their fellow members. On some transactions you may pay a little more but most times both sides win.

If I would have known that Ray (BigTruck) was selling the package I would have bought that instead. He says that he is getting his new site up and that should help knowing what he has. I found out that he was selling the rack thru his broadcast and seen it as a way to support it, plus I was looking for a rack.

If you every watched one of his broadcast you would feel the same way. Very entertaining and good quality.

I picked up a Delta rack from Ray. I always check AZ first if I need something pool related. Support the people who make this place what it is!

The Delta-13 Rack, elite or otherwise, is a great rack. The only things I have to say against it is that it may be a bit noisy at first for you, and it is a little pricey. However, I have NEVER used a rack that racks the balls as consistently and tightly as the Delta-13. You will never have to invest in another rack, as this will not warp or break. Overall, the cost is not prohibitive. It's a worthwhile investment that I would make in a heartbeat if I owned my own table.

*edit*

Now that I know that I can pruchase the rack from BigTruck, when I return from overseas and can afford a table of my own, I would be more than glad to support him and his streaming endeavors by purchasing the Delta-13 from him. Have to support the AZ community.

You may want to consider the Magic Ball Rack. It's cheap and in many people's opinion, including mine, it gives an incomparable rack. Perfect rack every time, which can not be said for ANY trianglular rack. Read more about it here:

Matt,

LOL. The template rack you are referring to cannot check for undersize balls like the Delta can. The Delta rack is THE ONLY rack that is made to exacting measurements and can check for undersize balls. When you find a ball that is slightly smaller you simply move it to the back of the rack.

The Magic Rack is fine if your balls are always perfect, but even brand new Super Aramith Pro ball sets are not 100% perfect.

The guys at RJD Machining have been making parts for the Aerospace industry to exacting standards for many years. The Delta rack was spawned from their passion for pool and is made to the same exacting specs as they make everything.

When you consider you will NEVER need another rack, the cost is VERY low!

I had the Delta Rack. I liked it. I use the rack from Diamond now and I prefer it.

The Diamond rack is good for the most part, but they vary and cannot be used to check for undersize balls consistently. They also wear out and will splinter with use.
Not much cheaper either.

I have a 9ft ProAm and a Diamond rack too. The Delta is the only rack I use now.

The Delta rack with inserts IS quieter too!
