Hi fellow Azers..

I recently bought a Schon Ltd 1130. I do not have picturs of it, but i browsed through the forum and found a picture that somebody else took.. The cue looks this:

I am thinking of installing a leather wrap on the cue. Would like to seek some advise on what leather wrap would go well with it? I was thinking of getting a brown teju lizard or something along those lines to get a bit more contrast than the standard black color.. But any advise would be greatly appreciated!!

I would think about a nice *stacked leather wrap*. Saw several Schon Cues near to your desigh with a nice stacked-leather. Just my opinion :)

Black lizard print or genuine hide. Send a pm to Jim Lee (J&D CUSTOMS) or to KOINNKID. They have a wide variety of wraps to choose from

Thunder , is right on. Black and send it to Jimmie . Jim

I buy all my wraps from Jim (J&D Customs). He is the man when it comes to both installation and fine wraps. He could help you decide and probably has the selection you need to accomplish what you want.

Example of leather wraps and lizard wraps...

Ring tail lizard is the only way to go!I have had Troy "KOINNKID" do several for me.He just did a Ring tail on another one of my schons. It turned out great!Good luck!

Do you think a brown teju lizard, or something reddish would work??

I don't think so. I would match a cognac (reddish) wrap to a cue with an ebony forearm and buttsleve, or a brown wrap to maple forearm with rosewood points and sleve. For your cue, black is the way to go imho.

I have a bunch of wraps with different colors and textures that I keep so I can simply put them over an existing wrap, to see what the cue will look like with different combos.

. This way, I get to try several options before a wrap is permanently installed

Honestly i would have a real ring tail lizard wrap(Black) put on.

the real skins hold there shine alot longer, and they have a better fell as well.

Good Luck
Steve
