I have Bobcad 21 and was wondering if version 23 was worth the $195.00 to upgrade. If so, is it any easier to use and what are the differences?

Is Bobcad getting desperate? They don't normally let it go for less than $500. There are several guys on here using both. Once they are used to the older ver. they don't want to switch. The cad side of 23 is simular in most respect with some improvements though a few tools are no longer there. Now the cam side is quite different and this is the main reason someone would want to upgrade. I recommend that you download the demo and check Bobcad's support area for some videos on the cam side. Then you can make a good choice as to wheter to upgrade or not. You can download the demo from www.bobcad.com/updates without getting bothered with the information request though that area has its uses.

I upgraded from 17 and I am very satisfied. I don't know if you need to upgrade from 21. Call Bobcad and ask them what you are getting that's different from your version.

I went to the training seminar when they were here in Chicago and I also bought the new training disks. You can beat up the Bobcad sales people if you drive a hard bargain.

I bought my Mach 3 program from Lee at Brianna. He was the cheapest.

my favorite is 21.5 Bobcad workss the best for cue building in my opion.
