Samsara jump break cues

I had a Sledgehammer by Samsara , I bought it from Guylassy at the SBE a few years ago. It had a 12.75 tip with a very long taper wich made it great for jumping but IMO it sacrificed control on the break.Just a small mishit from center would induce alot of sidespin on the cueball but when you hit it good it broke great.

???

hummmmm interesting. i wonder how the new line of samsara jump break do??the non sledgehammer ones

a lot of this can be from the tip shape. flatten out the tip and it won't be as sensitive to putting accidental side on the ball

They are outstanding. I really think they are an all around success. They break great and are versatile jump cues. I can execute long range jumps with the full cue, mid range jumps with the butt broken down, and super close range jumps with the included dart handle. I've sold a bunch of them from people liking mine so much. I'll see if I can post a photo of my cue soon.

It was a one piece phenolic tip , Im not sure what the new ones come with.

The new Samsara Break/Jump cues come with their own Samsara layered leather break/jump tip. I hate that they use a black ferrule because it looks like a one piece ferrule/tip, but it is not.

Whats everyones opinion on the Samsara jump break cues? How do they work?

I have a Samsara JB-04 and a OB break cue. I really like the Samsara. I have not worked on really close up jumps with it but if the ball being jumped is 2 balls away I have no issues getting over it. I know it will jump with it closer I seen it done with my cue. I am just out of practice to do it.

I also used to have a Rick Howard with Guylassy Shafts. To me my old one broke better than both of them But not by much. Then again maybe it's because I was used to it and the two I have now are still new to me

As stated already I don't care for the Black tip it looks like there is no tip at all.
