Like the title say I am looking for a Meucci Oldies 1 Cheap. I don't need a "collectors museum cue" it's a player I want. If you have one let me know.

Hi I sold one to asiasdad here on AZ, but it is in perfect condition, Meucci Original. He was asking around $750. Last I heard it was still for sale. Jim

Surely someone has an OL-1 Meucci on here somewhere that's a good player play, not collect. If it's something you more than you can buy new one or a nice Schon for, I probably don't want it . JUST A PLAYER PLEASE!
 
OL-1 and cheap don't mix...that's why you can't find one.

If you're willing to take one that does not say MEUCCI ORIGINAL on
it, then it is not an OL-1, and yes, that you can find cheap

FWIW: Mine is sold, and it wasn't cheap by Meucci standard pricing.

I also don't deal with nits.

Meucci script is fine, just no dot shafts, and FWIW on the street and in pool rooms they bring 175.00 to 275.00 NO IFLlATED prices! That's what I meant by cheap. Don't send my a reply saying 400.00. That's bull----! And everybody knows it:mad:. MEUCCI ORIGINALS always ended up with either warped shafts, cracked ferruls and cracked joint collars, if not all of the above So don't preach the glories of the "Meucci Oringinals" I owned plenty:rolleyes:! and replaced many ferruls and warped shafts. For a long time you cound'nt give a Meucci away. But they have always been a guilty pleasure of mine. I bought one new for 349.99 and still find them on fleabay and amazon. I want a cheap player ie.........150.00 to 250.00 FOR A PLAYER ie.....nicks, dents, blued shafts, worn fininish or cracked ferrule ( read the opening post) That what's a player to me is.

OL-1 are some of the most sought after Meucci Originals. They do fetch upwards of a $1000. So Telling Jim that the prices are high Asia was asking was wrong by you. Jim specified it was a Meuci Original in collector shape.

You can find the oldies line in the price range you are talking about. Most people will tell you, the Meucci Originals are the better Meucci cues not the ones with Script Meucci.

GL with finding a Meucci Reproduction of the old OL-1 cue, they are on here from time to time. And yes they maybe in your price range, but they will be beat up and well 'played'

Well maybe it was him calling me a nit and don't know where people are buying these cues but if here in Dayton if you wanted 1000 for a Meucci, they'd lock you up. The oldies 1 was the bottom of the line and I just missed one on here for 250, how come all these "collectors" did NOT jump all over this cue? and why did he have to go to fleabay to sell it? the cue was not beat up and was in a nice playable condition. Again I'll say it, I want a player. NOT A MUSEUM ITEM and it don't matter which era as long as it not dot shafts

Let me be very clear. It can have slightly warped shaft, taper roll out, worn away finish, blued shaft, cracked ferrrule! JUST A PLAYER! if have one let me know, if not, I don't need to hear you opinion, because you don't have what I am looking for.:rolleyes: By way since i seemed to made a mistake by asiadad what I though.....NO OVERSEASE SELLERS, I WANT TO DEAL WITH A SELLERS HERE IN THE STATES. I might have better luck. There I think I have made it abundantly clear as to what I want.

Well, you did PM me and asked to buy my O-1, I said give me $250 or it's going on Ebay. You didn't buy it, and now you're looking for one in the $250 minus range.

You can't find these cues for $100 anymore, yet 2-3 years ago, I did buy a 95-17 for $150 via craigslist, but that was a rare and lucky chance. AND it was 2-3 years ago.

GOOD LUCK finding one for "cheap" go check my POSTS and SEE how many times I put a "WTB" thread for Meucci Oldies, OL-1, O-1, 95-17. I think i have about 3 of WTB threads!

1. Meucci's Quality and quality control sucks, every Moochie I've ever owned had some kind of manufacturing flaw, especially newer ones.

2. Meucci OL-1 costs a lot because to have a good condition one, being that it was made via Moochie's bad quality control is an Irony.

3. Meucci OL-1 (the top dog) is worth $300-$2,000 in my opinion and some people would take $5k.
4. Meucci O-1 and 95-17 will fetch $180-300 all day long on Ebay.
5. For $180-300, I'll take a MCD newer cue or D and C series anyday!

I love the Meucci cue hit, I believe the ClearCoated Wrap adds more structural rigidity, and thus it hits like a ton compared to many other cues. It's stich welding or roll-caging a car's chassis, this clear coat wrap.
