Does the tap from atlas work for tapping the holes? If so Yes I do. If not I will need some info on the thread and I will make them up. If you have the thread there measure it on the OD and let me know.

You might want to speak to Mike Bender directly on the specs of his pin.
It's my understanding that he makes his own.

I recently did some shafts for a Bender (3/8x14). My tap is .005" oversize (.380"). The shafts were unbelievably tight. Granted, they were going into phenolic and I'm sure that going into wood would be a little more forgiving, but I'm thinking that there's something 'special' about his pin.
Might be worth finding out.

As far as the shaft side goes the std 3/8-14 should work. On the butt side I would have to grind a tap or get one made. So that would take me a little time unless I could get one from Mr. Bender.

If you can picture a piece of brass with a shank of 0.625 or 0.750 with whatever thread on the male side. The female side is the same od with a tapped hole. All of these are made to your specs if it is possible IE length shank diameter. I will shoot a picture tonight and post.
Again these can be made to your specs.

.3125 minor. Let me know when the set is ready. Prefer .840. OD. Thanks, Martin

Martin I am a little confused. You said you want an 0.840 O.D. correct. These are not a sanding mandrel. This is merely a maintenance set like what Atlas or Prather sells for spining shafts and butts these are not built the same as a carbide sanding mandrel.
Martin give me a call when you get a chance I want to make sure you get what you are looking for. My number is on my website.

Good talking with you Martin. I have what I need for the Bender. I didn't get to them last night but by the time the funds get here they will be ready.

Sets for the Cog are ready.
