Hey Lewis,

Is this a truely "Open" event or will there be someone to determine who can/cannot play based on speed.

Since it's in my area and I like barbox 8 ball it would be a great tourney to play, on the other hand I don't really want to draw Hillbilly or Sylver since I'm not their speed.

Think some players might like to know that up front.

There is a tournament in Houston this same weekend that Hillbilly and Sylver play in, so I doubt those two guys will be at this event.

Zach,

Ted is an APA kinda guy. The tourneys there are normally APA rules and split into 2 divisions....SL 4 and under for the bangers, and 5 and above for the "used to be bangers". He's pretty loyal to his customers so my opinion is he will try to have his weekly tourney

Maybe Lewis can convince him otherwise.

yes, ted will be holding his normal Friday night tournament this Friday. This will not hinder our plans at all!!

There were just 4 or 5 of us probably coming down Friday night and we're just wondering if they were going to have it as a good thing not a bad thing..You know like something to do to kill time...Still not sure on who all is coming and if we are all coming..
