He beat Neil.... Higgins lost.... Unless Ronnie has a Ronnie melt down or Selby can catch a gear I am not sure anyone else has the stuff to shoot down the rocket. What say you?

Depends on whether or not Ronnie is gonna shave this time
LOL! I'd rather have him wear a Bin Laden beard and rocket off to catch the trophy. I believe he shall win.

Expected Higgins to be in the Semi's, but O well, he seemed gloomy right from start; perhaps one of those ugly moments and Allen went "for the glove". Amazingly Day took victory over Perry 6 to nil reaching quarters for the first time.

Just finished watching Rocket v. Williams. Great match.
That was a sensational match, especially the last frame.

Selby's playin very well, would not be a surprise if he wins it.
No doubt, but will give edge to Ronnie. Hope to see a great rematch from last year. I predicted Ronnie/Selby match at the quarters. I am all ready to watch them rumble 'live' on my high def. big screen.

What is that, two wins and a second place for Selby in the three tries at the Masters?

Pretty damn strong.

Selby caught the gear. Really courageous performance, Selby showed a ton of character. One of the best comebacks I have watched in a while other sports included.

I've been a fan of Selby for a couple of years now. He's a great character and obviously a great player, beating Ronnie when he was in form. Hopefully he'll get some ranking points and give a good showing at the Worlds

Mark is a brilliant match player and has a high gear that allows him to compete with John Higgins and Ronnie O'sullivan. Unfortunately he doesn't seem to have the consistency of Stephen Maguire or Shaun Murphy.

He's such an odd player though. His preliminary strokes seem out of rythem, and he seems unsteady on the shot until his final delivery. In theory he shouldn't be able to play this well. I guess that's what we call "talent".

His technique isn't quite textbook
At least he's gotten rid of some of the bad habits. I have no doubt he'll get even better, now that he's working on his head movement.

Too bad Ronnie lost in spite of his lead even though he was the favorite. He made a few blunders that cost him his lead and could have won the championship if it weren't for missing on the easy yellow to finish up the colored balls in the 18th frame. Mark played exceptionally well against the top notch and deserved the trophy. Well done and a great match.

Hope to see the better of them at the Welch Open. For now, I am all concentrated in the Australian Grand Slam Tennis.
