It totally sucks AGAIN!

Sucks isnt even the right word- for it to suck, you would have to have some sort of stream-right now i have nothing-a black screen w intermittent audio.

I could have gone to the DCC but i figured with TAR streaming the match-ups and AS streaming the tourny-why bother?

Pat Flemming keeps talking about having bandwidth issues at 4 O clock each day-Im having issues all day every day.

PS- I know it isn't AS fault but i do get the feeling they dont go to these sites a day or two in advance and see what the issues are using some sort of broadcast simulation.

In the past 1/2 hr- Johnny vs Efren, I havent see one shot and i havent seen Efren AT ALL-not even in the chair. I dont have any idea what the score is even.

I get the audio for a minute and Marc and Jay start sayin some stuff and its really interesting and im dying to hear the end and boom the audio goes off. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!

Sorry for the near pointless post- Im just pissed and disappointed.

tough time here too...

It's getting harder and harder to keep remaining optimistic on my end too...

I'll keep hangin' on......

They are in order. That being said i wont ask for one.

I heard Pat say twice that all matches are being archived and if we dont get to see a match due to Broadcast problems, we can see them at a later time.

I have almost no interest in seeing a match where i know the result.
 
TAR too

Sorry to learn that Accu-Stats is having streaming problems too. I watched a little bit of the TAR free streaming a couple of times, but with the picture
"freezing" so much during the stream, I sure didn't want to pay to see that kind of thing happening....
 
Trouble here too!

Just wanted chime in to say that the stream had been ok most of the time past few days but I just came home from a hard day @ work excited to see some great pool and relax to find there is a terrible stream I already payed for. Pretty disappointed. Lagging video with no sound =read a book!. I must also say that I always watch the Open on AS with no problems so Im sure its something to do with the casinos internet;

Supporting this streaming business is getting difficult. Purchased a ppv on TAR last night only to have it go to a free service because of difficulties with something. Watched 10hrs of action ( go jl ) last night that without TAR would never see so its a good product just wore me out trying to keep it running from my end buffering-buffering-buffering-buffering. Hope this gets resolved.

I dont think it gets resolved this year. According to Pat, the hotel's IT staff says nothing is wrong.

PS-Things have just gotten worse-Error message- Windows media player cannot connect to the Server!

I have ALWAYS made ruthless fun of men who watch sports and cuss at the t.v... I've made smart a$$ed remarks, reminded fans that the players can't hear the living room coaching and commentary, laughed out loud, teased, etc...

This last week, though, I have found my own self cussing at the computer with all of the lags. (it wasn't AccuStats, though). At one point (1p match), it even seemed to be timed so that I was allowed to see one player shoot, but never the other. I dealt with it- half a match was better than none... Then a 10b match started. I had no interruption of audio, but as it got later, I rarely saw a moving picture.

I actually found myself yelling, "Oh Come ON!!! ...You mf'ers!!!!"

I finally just turned the computer off.

That was free viewing. If I had to pay for that kind of frustration, I'd really be in bits.

(I can't make fun of men yelling at the t.v. anymore. Never again.)
 
Allocate Bandwidth?

Any body know if a Hotel/casino can allocate/guarantee portions of it's bandwidth to users (like Accustats)?

I too was trying to watch the Efren vs Johhny Archer 10 ball match but it was just to frustrating. I hope they get this turned around for the better and soon.

Don't you think someone from Accu-Stats could have checked the internet system at the Hotel to be sure it is adequate for proper streaming?

PAid for the whole thing but not happy about it!!!!

Im sure they can and did to some extent. Pat wouldn't drag all his stuff there and just hope. There probably was no guarantee in writing and no spelling out of any penalties for non performance. IT is like that.

refunds are absolutely in order here unless accu-stats does something to turn it around ASAP.

TAR put it on for free through ustream last night and it worked great for the most part.

Accu-stats needs to do the same here until they can fix the PPV stuff.

Yes, they are giving content away for free but at least those who paid for it get a chance to watch waht they paid for. This is absolutely unacceptable. They need to make the PPV recordings available to anyone who bought the stream package for the week.

if they do not remedy this situation in a big way, I'm going to be organizing some type of petition or boycott against accu-stats. I realize the bandwidth problems were not part of the plan, but it's definitely not the paying customer who should be penalized for that. Something needs to be done to make this right Accu-stats.

I just missed what in all likelihood is turning out to be an epic 10 ball match between two of the greatest of all time. This is VERY VERY FRUSTRATING.

Even the Alex/Gabe 1 hole match had some pretty bad spots of buffering, etc and that was early in the day.
 
Anyone-Are you getting the error message where you can't connect to the Server currently?

I just got a picture but no Johnny/Efren- two guys talking

What is on? Sullivan and the other guy talking? Thats what i got. I have no idea if it is current or was taped 2 years ago!!

It looks like 11AM to me.
