Mill spindle speed

When buying a Mill to cut points,what is the minimum spindle speed that should be bought? I've been looking at the grizzly mills. Thanks for the help.

I would think around 2000 to be minimum i run my mill at 3000 rpm with a double angle cutter works great but hell what do i know!! i don't make my own forearms any way ha ha that's what they think so i will keep them thinking.

Hey Leon,

Is that the Grizzly 1007? That is what I am thinking of getting.

As clean as your equipment is, I'm gonna start a rumor that you don't do any of your own work:eek:
It's obvious to those in the know, that it's impossible for someone to keep their shop that clean. :)

I Like that one:):) my wife keeps the shop nice and clean and she gets rewarded at night:poke::love:

That's a clean mill! Where's the indexer, point cutting fixtures, cutter, etc?

That machine doesn't look like it's used.

That's a clean mill! Where's the indexer, point cutting fixtures, cutter, etc? ross i was waiting for you to order a cue befor i put the fixture back on the table and just maybe I'll get my wife to make the forearm for your cue don't delay my waiting List is getting Long.
