4 Years ago I saw one Ebony/Pink Ivory Mc Daniel Peacock Cue, anyone knows who own that Cue?

Ralf: I don't think any peacock or Lazy S cue used pink ivory. I thought I had seen every wood combination Bill used. Snakewood was the most exotic wood I ever saw him use. If you find one with P/I please send me a picture.

sorry for the ignorance but WTH is a peacock cue? always thought it had to do wit colorfull veneers. but I suppose that's not true.

Look at the kind of arrowhead shaped inlays in the points & pointing up & down in the butt. Those are known as peacock inlays & were used a lot by Gus Szamboti. They've become a very classic design detail.

In the photo below, the cue to the far left is an ebony/pink ivory model. There was also one on eBay several weeks ago that was ebony/pink ivory, but I can't remember if the butt sleeve was ebony with pink ivory windows, or the reverse. The seller was asking 6000.00 or best offer. I don't believe he received any offers.

I think Bill only made one with pink ivory but it may have been just one with the sharp points. I sold the cue but it made its way to ebay a few weeks ago.

Those Horseshoe cues were sweet. Don't see them too often.
