For sale is a relatively rare and in excellent condition Keith Hanssen cue, also known as Keith Kustom. Keith was one of the 12 cuemakers selected to be in the 1995 Hand of the Masters cuemakers calender. The cue is in excellent condition with some minor scratches, I'd say conservatively about 90-95%. Both shafts are full 13mm and the cue and shafts roll dead straight. I believe the weight to be 19.5, but will double check later. The cue is a stiff player, probably because the shaft tapers look to be parabolic, ala Southwest. The cue is 58 inches long and has a forward balance 20' (measured from the butt).

The workmanship on the cue is excellent. Keith really knows how to make a cue. According to Keith, the woods are Brazilian Rosewood Nose, and Myrtlewood Points (6 even). The cue is signed Keith Hanssen between the points, and has serial number and date (1992) engraved on the top of the pin. Sold

No interest? I thought there might be some fans out there. Let's make the price more reasonable.....sold.

VERY Solid

About a week ago, Doug let me hit some balls with this cue. The hit is very solid (so much so, it's almost like a 1 piece), stiff and clean.
I'm rather impressed that the cue has Myrtlewood in it, too. Beautiful stuff in turned wood like bowls and such. I've never seen it in a cue.

Anyway, great cue, great seller.
The new owner will be pleased with the cue if they've played with a Keith Kustom before, that's for sure.

Keith's cues....

FYI,

I think this is a very nice offering for the price!

I picked up one of Keith's SP cues he had posted for sale on here last year and, it hit's very SWEET indeed ;)

Keith may not have sold many cues here on AZ but, without any question IMO, he's a top-notch cuemaker for sure!

Best of luck with your sale,

Ken :thumbup2:

Thanks Ivan. The woods make a nice combo. The Brazilian Rosewood is used predominately to make musical instruments...great resonance. Anyway, it's a hell of a cue, I'm surprised not more interest.

Thanks Ken,

I've had some inquiries, but I'm surprised I've not had more. Hanssen builds a terrific cue, I'd put the quality next to any cuemaker out there, and I've owned them all. He was selected to be in the Hand of the Masters calendar for a reason.

Price reduction....Down to -----. If that doesn't open some eyes, then I don't know what to think. If I haven't marked sold then the cue is still for sale.
