what a white leather wrap would look like on my cue? I am curious as to if it would look horrible or not, I am planning on having it refinished soon and wrapped but wanted to give it a fresh look, ring tail lizard in black/white would be nice too but I am really liking the white.

White/Black ring Tail wrap

Troy "KOINNKID" maybe able to help you with the photo shop issue.IMO just about any wrap would look good on this monster but a White/Black spec ring tail would be my choice. Here's a few pictures of a older Schon LTD that i had Troy put a white/black ring tail on that would sure look good on your cue IMO.Hope this helps and good luck my friend!

Can you photoshop a blanket or towel under this cue? I for the life of me can't figure out why someone would lay a cue on a bed of gravel regardless of how careful you are when laying it down.

On a positive note. I think the white leather wrap would look good on this cue.

Thanks for the help, I am kind of in the middle on the black/white ring tail wrap or an all white. Kevin I did place it gently down and did no damage that I see, I probably was hoping I would so it would make me send it out for a refinish faster. The cue is 15 years old and has been played but is still in good shape besides one ring in the cue that either has cracked or just is the finish.

The choice is yours but I think the all white will look better than the black and white ringtail. The downside of the all white is that it will require more cleaning to keep it looking good. I bought an all white wrap to lay on my cues to see which cue it would look best on. Still haven't decided which cue will get the wrap but one of my cues will eventually get the all white wrap.

In addition remember that if you put on a new wrap you will more than likely need to have the whole cue refinished. Its a great looking cue.

Thanks Kevin and I am leaning towards the white wrap, I am just waiting until I get the whole cue refinished as it has been played and is 15 years old. I play often, 4-5 days a week so the wrap will see some use and I am unsure of how to keep the white leather clean and not getting bluing on it from chalk or whatever. I suppose a damp cloth and wipe it off after every use would work. The wrap on the cue now is a boar skin and feels very nice, not sure what kind of print I want, will have to see what is out there.

Lenny,

what i find works best is to bring it to a cuemaker and wrap the leather around it to get a better visual.

you might like the Black/White Lizard but if you have a large piece wrap it around in different directions, you might be able to get some more black or white depending on the direction.

Good Luck
Steve
