Just wanted to let everyone Know That last nite My 11 year old son Manny (Kansas City Kid) Had one of his best finishes At shooters friday nite tourney.

With a field of 58 players Manny broke into the top 10 with a 5-6th finish and earning himself $60.00. This is Mannys best finish so far on friday nite and hes bound and determined to do even better.

The previous month Manny entered the Midwest tourney at shooters and with a 100 player field Mannny had a great finish , He finished 1 out of the money with a 25 -28th place finish. He played great , even coming back in 1 match from a 6-3 defecit to win 9-6 by winning 6 in a row against a very good player.

To those that have kids I suggest to get them involved in pool early and help them along. Instead of being a soccer mom or dad We can be a pool mom or dad.

Lets help kids enjoy this great sport, Help them By starting a junior league in your area and get local kids invovled.

Thanks

Mannys proud dad

Yay Manny!!

Is he going to play next Saturday at the Clarette? It's just a matter of time until he runs away with one of the KC Rated tournaments.

Good job, Manny!!

Manny won`t miss one of those Kc rated tourneys if he can help it.lol

He will be there.

By the way Manny just took second place last nite at the shooters saturday nite tourney. In a strong 33 man field, Comming from the losers side after being in the top 4, he came back and played a hill, hill match against the guy that put him in the loser side with a 5-0 score and the winner of the hot seat. Coming up short on 6 ball position for the win. The match ended in a 5-4 score .

But Manny got second and won 75.00 and won second in last man standing side pot, for additional 25.00. Great showing Son.

I was looking at your avatar and i was thinking man that kid looks familiar.
I was at Dan tulls poolhall in kns about a year ago maybe.I was watching this kid play thinking that kid is going to give alot people run for there
money if he keeps playing.
Your son is very talented and it is awesome to see someone at this age playing that good .

Any given friday or saturday you will catch Manny playing pool with just about anyone that wants to hit some balls. He always welcomes the out of town players with a friendly challenge match. He will also hit any balls left on a table that nobody is using during tourneys to stay in stroke.

Dan Tull is one of his biggest supporters here at shooters, Always providing free table time and helping out with entry fees. Ect.

Manny has a lot of great people here that help him out here and there with support in one way or another, Doug Patrick our new cue guy helps out with cue work and does a great job.

Dan Tull and Doug Patrick just recently Suprised Manny with a very nice custom pool cue they made for him. That Is what he used in his awsome playing in two tourneys this weekend.

Let me tell you somthing if Dan tull wasn`t too busy with running shooters He would be one heck of a custom cue builder! He knows how to build a cue .

I would like to take this time to thank Dan Tull And Doug Patrick On the awsome cue they presented Manny with. thanks Guys.

If anyone ever needs a custom cue you can`t go wrong with having Doug Patrick build you one!

Also thanks for the nice compliments on Manny!

That is great, congrats! I didn't get to start shooting until age 16 myself. Although I'm only 25 now, whenever I see a young poolplayer that is determined and have heart for the game, it puts a smile on my face.

Congrats Manny

Doug is a good man ,takes good care of Manny cues, But Manny won`t let that interfere with a match against him. lol:smile:

We`re due to play Doug some 1 pocket soon. Thanks for the the support!
