i know the seller he is a nice guy. owns a decent size billiards buisness here in nj. i dont think he would screw anyone. be patient.....
 
Three weeks is patient enough. If you know the seller, give him a call and tell him to issue a refund to the OP. That'd be a lot more helpful than telling someone to wait longer for their money.

Thanks Clever Set, I agree that 3 weeks of waiting for something that takes 30 seconds to do is enough time, thanks for your concern too. Dave Sutton, you said you know the seller? I believe it was a "she" and not a "he", if you do know them you should probably let them know that they have a customer waiting on a refund and because they have been so unprofessional and non-compliant they are getting a lot of negative attention from this post and rightfully so. Thanks everyone for your support regarding this situation, much appreciated!

Real mature Dave, all I was saying is if you know the seller like you say you do you might want to let them know what's going on because they are getting a lot of negative attention. Obviously you don't know them well enough to care about them either.
 
i considered calling him but then i read the two posts and decided i dont care enough. when someone tells me i "should" call like im the boss of the company i tend to say kiss off. i took a little more offense to the other posters comment then yours but in the end i dont want to be involved. so i now bow out. i have a very shory fuse for stupid people today

nothing like trying to make our on line community better. no one was saying you had to do it with a gun to your head, but it would have been nice if you have some relation to the seller to just ask them what 's going on and maybe drop a post here to let this poor guy know if he got screwed or not. and to come back calling the other posters stupid. all class man. all class. make sure your new motto gets out, "dave sutton custom cues. he doesn't give a damn and thinks you're stupid".

I have no idea but....

I have observed the seller on ebay and here the last year or so and really working get some business going. It sure does appear they have fallen on some kind of a rough patch with no activity here and the ebay accounts drying up.

It is kinda obvious to me that their business is in the process of going down the toilet but it is not a suprise in this economic day and age.

It sounds like they have done a good job of taking care of customers in the past and I hope they get around to the OP also.

But it sounds like someones life is basically falling apart. I would try to have some patience but I understand your concern and position. I would have hoped they would have let you know whats going on but who knows what is their situation. (and I would think the OP is only concerned about their own situation with the seller) mebe it is so bad, they have bills with KF and have no recourse at the moment to get your situation resolved

I hope this all works out in the end and I dont think you people should pile on Dave Sutton for not getting involved.

I probably didnt say much that helps here but just wanted to give my opinions like everyone else does.

I'm not mad at Sutton for not getting involved I just think he is very immature and should keep his thoughts to himself if he doesn't intend to say anything meaningful. The worst part is I was buying this cue for a friend of mine who is a beginner and doesn't have access to a computer, this was his first cue purchase and this is the introduction to the world of pool that he receives :frown:
 
This is messed up. I don't care what kind of consumer you are if you buy something and you make numerous attempts to contact the person you bought the defective item from and you have waited 3 weeks with no response, You have been PLENTY patient! I don't care what someone has going on in their life, there is 24 hours in a day you can find 2 minutes to contact the person you owe money too.

It sounds like to me they closed up shop, went out of business and just don't give a sh*t anymore. What makes matters worse, is Dave Sutton knows the seller and even if HE personally didn't give him a call (which he is not obligated to do) he could have said "here is the phone number for the hall the guy owns, his name is X" but to go and say "I'm don't care about your transaction" or that the OP got ripped off?? That's low class and from a Cue Maker who other people refer?? I was thinking of ordering a Custom Cue from Dave.. Now?? NO WAY would I give my business or ever tell anyone I knew to buy a cue from Dave.
