well great for you and your all caps self marcus. your "sick" friend doesn't sound sick he's sounds broke. last time i checked they don't turn your phones off for being sick. and as far as him being a one man op there have been a few posters who mentioned a few different names they had spoken to. and if the guy's got family you're telling me no one in the family is going to watch out for his monetaty interest. nah - i am not buying any of what you're saying. no one was bashing just on speculation they are bashing your buddy because he up and closed shop and owes at least one of the poster's here money. with all of your itrader i am willing to bet if you didn't get restitution for a deal you'd be right here letting everyone know you got stiffed and if it was someone i knew who stiffed you i'd be calling my friend out on it.

Aubrey's Quay experience

I gotta jump in here in defense of Myra and Jack. April 2008 I did a deal with Jack to get a KF cue to try out. Sent him a Fury JB and some cash. Cue never arrived. I PM'ed and no response, Jack seemed to fall off the earth. After several weeks figured something might have happened, wished him well and wrote it off. October 2009 I got an email from Myra saying that she had a cue for me and sent it. Jack was making our deal right even though I had already forgiven him. PM me your address and I'll send you the cue so that this thread can end and Jack and Myra can have some AZ peace.

I'm not mad at Sutton for not getting involved I just think he is very immature and should keep his thoughts to himself if he doesn't intend to say anything meaningful. The worst part is I was buying this cue for a friend of mine who is a beginner and doesn't have access to a computer, this was his first cue purchase and this is the introduction to the world of pool that he receives :frown:

Could I be of service in providing your friend their first cue.
I can honestly say that over the years I have sold 1000s of players their first cue .
I triple check all cues before I ship. Your friend will be very pleased.

I got flat-out screwed on a cue by a guy named Matt Sclafani on ebay, and I never saw a cent or even a splinter from the cue, so I can truly relate to you. However, Marcus is a valuable member here, and would probably have helped you out if the attitude wouldnt have gotten so negative toward him. I have bought a few things from Marcus, and he is a great guy to deal with, so if his opinion or "speculation" is that Jack or Myra or who the hell ever will make it right, then I gotta believe him. I am also sure that Marcus cannot control what Jack does, so it is still very possible you got ripped. I REALLY hope not bud. I still get pissed thinking about my bad deal, but there was nothing I could do. At least Marcus and Dave know the guy, and might even try to get in contact with him. So lets all just calm down, drink a beer, (or kool-aid) and hope the dude gets well first, then makes the business right.

I don't know what is going on with Aubrey's Quay.

I have had multiple successful deals with Myra and Jack...that doesn't do anything for the OP's situation.

I would hope that one of them would post what is truly going on.

I wish the OP success in the resolution of his situation.

Now, speculation on my part:

The signs are that something not good has gone on in AQ's business life, for sure. IF it is a business failure of some sort, then there probably won't be any resolution of the situation. If a business folds, etc, then everybody loses...the former owner, the creditors and those customers who were due something.

If there is a health related matter, then I wish AQ (Jack/Myra) a speedy recovery and return to AZ and the rest of the world.

Runnin8 - I appreciate your offer and if you really want to vouch for Jack and Myra then you can Paypal me the money, it's not a cue that I am seeking anymore, it's a refund.

Snipershot - The attitude got negative towards Marcus because he said we were all speculating then he went and made speculations of his own. I never insulted Marcus, just said not to talk trash about other people speculating if he was going to do the same thing. Dave Sutton became negative after I told him he should call Jack or Myra since he knew them to let them know what was going on. I wasn't insulting anyone, just saying they might want to know what's going on and if Dave knew them he would be the perfect person to relay the information but he has proven that he is indeed not the perfect person to do that.
