Here is a Joe Callaluca that I just got and to tell the truth I know very little about his cues except it seems to be very nice. Tell me what you can about his cue building.

To start with which has nothing to do with his cues, Joe is a true Gentleman,
He makes a nice hitting cue. His point and inlay work is clean. He cares about his cue making.

That's Great To Hear That Usually Means He Makes A Fine Cue.

Tommie1351,Frirst I want to thank you for purchasing one of my cues.I have been making cues for around 7 years.I am mostly self schooled through Chris hightowers' book and the internet sites like this one.I make about 8-12 cues a year.I core all of my forearms now.I also will use fullsplice blanks and make conversions from other companies products.I am always working to better myself and take the time to listen to customers and build a lasting relationship with them.

i second what mike says. joe is my friend and i can tell you that he is genuinely trying to make the best hitting and best looking cue he can. joe doesn't make many cues and he does quite a large amount of work for the locals. but joe and one of his cues was featured in billiard's digest

joe makes some of the best hitting cues on the planet and some of the best looking cues as well. and joe has very good speed as a player and i think that helps in making cues that play well, he knows what to look for. good luck with the cue.

guy

Joe makes a great playing cue, no doubt about it.
And, like Mike said, he is a great guy as well.

Joe's the man. Nice as can be....VERY tolerant of cue freaks like myself...and makes a great playing and looking cue. I've owned 3 of Joe's cues, and they were all incredibly impressive.

If only I could talk the man into making a piloted steel joint cue, we'd be in business!!! ;)

I haven't seen a Joe C cue that I didn't like.
And he is a nice guy, if you have a question re cue making, he will PM you back with an answer.

Thanx

Thank you very much for all yor replies especially you Joe. I'm sorry I haven't had one sooner. My Partner Michael hit with it and said it was solid and I could hear that solid hit from my chair. I've been doing this long enough I can tell that sound across the pool room. It is Beautiful on top of that!

Great player's cue

I just picked one on on Saturday at Valley Forge. Wife said she would buy it for me for my birthday if I ran the 8 balls out in order they set up for me to try it out. I can't tell you the last time I ran out 8 balls in order, but she held her end up and paid for it.

It's the best cue I've ever used. The hit is very solid and the craftsmanship is great. It's hard for me to explain, but for me, it just 'feels good'. I can spend my time thinking of the shot and aiming, not adjusting how I am holding the cue. Most cues I have used have distractions - a seem in the wrap where the pattern doesn't match up or a quick release joint that is just plain terrible (coming lose unless overtightened, soft hit with a dull sound).

If you see one available, don't hesitate, jump on it.

I'm already saving to try to buy another one.
