Cue Shark came out with a new Tip Tool, size of a half dollar and an 1/2 inch thick. It does everything you could want, shapes nickle or dime radius, scuffs, trims sides burnishes and has a side measuring for nickel or dime radius. The price is $25.00 and free shipping.I recommend as the best tip tool out there. WEB SITE IS www.cueshark.com also will never wear out and a lifetime warranty and made in USA

I have their original, and it is bulky, but I love it. I may have to check on the smaller version too.

Okay, someone's got to tell me: Who's buying that $100.00 tip tool package.

It ain't me !!!

I am a total freak when it comes to tip stuff. I watched whats in the case of Efern. I bought a look a like tip tool from Jacoby's cue on line. You name it I probably got it. So I bought the cue-shark P.U.P. All in all it should serve you well. But 25 bucks is a little pricey.

I bought TWO of the $25 versions. These things are the friggin' nuts. It's about time someone invented a really good tip tool. The last good tip tool I bought was the first one I ever bought 15 years ago (a Willard disc).

I gotta plug this thing--- it's really, really good. I love mine.

Well, I'm sold. I've been looking for a new tip tool for quite some time now, and this seems to be the end-all, be-all in tip maintenance. And $25 is a freakin steal considering you never have to replace any of the abrasives. To the OP, thanks for posting!

I bought the CueShark P.U.P down at the SBE. It is a really sweet tool, 50x better then the Cuetec one I had.

I met a fellow the other day with one of these things and was interested. I checked it out and agree it is a good tool. I then compared what it would do that my cue tec bow tie tool would not. Radius guage.....well I always have a dime or a nickle in my pocket.....permenant abrasive......had the bow tie for about 3 yrs now.....no sign of abrasive deteriorization.....side trimmer???.....I'm guessing this is the same purpose as a mushroom trimmer.......when I'm playing I just burnish my tip and when it needs more than a burnishing it is not something I would attempt in a pool hall or bar......and I would never attempt to grind away a mushroomed tip with abrasive granules......give me a razor trimmer every time.......and then I came to the players package price......lol $85 for a holster, tip tool and powder shaker......gadgets are nice, and this one seems well designed. Equipment junkies will love the engraving feature and I'm sure this product will sell.......but I'm keeping my $85 in my wallet....
