Just wondering how many of us go directly to http://www.azbmarketplace.com/
when we need an item.

I hope it is a common practice as they provide the best pool forum in the world for free ! I think they deserve an automatic look see when needed.
Just about everything is there too !

And AZbucks are credited toward future purchases. A discount only offered by http://www.azbmarketplace.com/ exclusivly. Plus free same day shipping for orders of a qualifying size.

If you have not been there check it out, or shame on you. hehe:cool:

ps- the best of pricing offered also.

Coincidentally, I just made my first purchase today. Been lurking here for a while, joined a few weeks ago. Bought the Venom trick shot video for my son that I saw a preview of on here. I love this site!

P.S.- first post also...

I found the best possible price for a rack I wanted to try. Don's Pivot Rack. Used it last night and was very pleased...Great product...even greater price..Thanks AZ

I purchased a set of Aramith Super Pro's a couple of weeks ago. For some reason they did not come with any Azbucks when I checked out. Maybe not all items have enough wiggle room to give a discount on future purchases. I dunno but I will continue to support AZ even though I don't have a club membership.

Welcome. Love that Avatar or yours ;)

That Venom is something else. Your son will love that video. Your first post being on Gary's thread and on this subject says volumes! Looking forward to your posts/contributions to our family!

I do use Sybert's on occasion, especially when my order includes chalk since they carry BD. Now I definitely go through the AZB Marketplace to order with them.

As the primary sponsor of this forum, I do find this thread a bit disconcerting. Clearly everyone should shop at the store they feel suits them the best, however these threads make me as a marketing professional question the overall value of the forum sponsorship.

To be clear, I have no issues with Seyberts or any of my other competitors as they all do an excellent job in selling billiards equipment. Competition is something that is always welcomed, especially from companies that work to lift the industry in a positive manner. I am curious though as to the impact of our long time sponsorship of this forum in the eyes of the forum users and would love to hear additional feedback. Please feel free to post your feedback here or email me directly at mike [at] pooldawg.com.

Thank you Oldzilla. I didn't mean to imply that you've made multiple postings like this. Since the AZ Marketplace opened, I've seen a few threads of this nature, which was the reason the pluralization. I completely agree that everyone here should support all the sponsors and advertisers of AZ Billiards. Naturally I want you all to shop with PoolDawg, but every advertiser absolutely deserves patronage, including my competitors.

Thank you again for your response to my concerns.

I haven't bought anything accept cues out of the for sale fourm.

What are the AZBucks? Is that the same a "Vcash"? How are they redeemed?

Here is a recent thread praising PoolDawg, in which I also posted good things about your company:

http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=181055

And I wasn't the only one. There are many postings here praising you for your support of the forum. Only you can make the business decision of where to put your advertising dollars. You guys do an excellent job. Seybert's does a good job too. All this thread is really saying is that if you are going to use Seybert's then do so through the AZB Marketplace so the forum get's some credit for it. That's no different than suggesting to people that if they are going to order from PoolDawg please do so by going through the advertising link at the top of the page so they know we are supporting them.

I will continue to do business with PoolDawg for sure, one very big reason being is your support of this forum. I usually order over the phone because I'm old school and also because your customer service/sales people are very helpful, friendly, professional. But I always tell them thanks for supporting AZB.

Believe me when I tell you that we are all very aware, and appreciate, your support of this forum. And around here we do tend to support the companies that support this forum as well as professional pool. Hopefully you will consider it in your best interests to continue to do so. But if not well, hey that's a business decision and I respect that.

BTW, I do wish you carried BD chalk.:grin-square:

Thank you for the comments and the support. Also thank you for directing me to that other thread, as it is always nice to hear good things about the company. We have no intention of pulling our sponsorship of the AZB forums. I was just stinging a bit this morning. We do get a nice amount of business from this sponsorship and enjoy helping to support the largest forum devoted to pool.

As for Blue Diamond chalk, it is one of those items that we go back and forth on. The price for the chalk is quite high, but demand certainly seems to be there. We might have to give it a try at some point in the near future. If there are other products that we're missing, please feel free to let me know. We're always looking for new products to add to the site.

Mike,

I can't even tell you the number of times when someone on the board here starts a thread asking "Where can I find this or that?" or can someone recommend something (like a bridge-head for instance), that in my response I will post a link to the item on your website if you carry it. This is because in addition to doing a good job, you guys support AZB. And I know I'm not the only one that does this.

As for the BD chalk, I'm sure it is not a big money maker for anyone including you. Heck, it's just chalk and how much can you make on a $6 - $24 order? The thing is when I need it, it doesn't make sense for me to pay shipping on say a $24 chalk order so I will usually go ahead and order other things I might not need right away just to get the free shipping. Stuff like ball cleaning fluid, shaft burnisher, tip pik etc. or maybe a few things for the local Boy's Club. So my $24 chalk order becomes a $75-$100 order - all because I needed chalk.

That's just me, of course.

Keep up the good work!!!! Gotsta love the Dawg!
