Yes a very good deal. It would be very hard to beat that price.

You can't really build cues on it though.

To be correct...you can build sneaky-pete style cues with it, as long as it comes with the bigger chuck. You can't taper or turn wood down other than by sanding with this lathe. It will do a fine job of sneaky building & repairs though...as long as your parts are nearly finished size or you can sand them to such. Unique Products even offers a tape/dvd showing step by step "how to.":wink:

I used one of these for a long time. It folds up and is easy to carry around to work tournaments, etc with. You can do tips/ferrules/shaft cleaning at those events and pick up some good cash with it. Very good portable lathe, and a good price, too.
