Up for sale today is a 4x8 case that we did with a cork-like top for extra moisture protection.

This one is made of oil tan leather. The "cork-top" makes a nice seal when the case is closed and a satisfying pop when opened.

John, what is the longest butt or shaft (including JP) that will fit without the cushion on the lid putting pressure on them? Thanks.

Also...if needed in a pinch...you can fit another butt, joint down, into a shaft tube. It fits fine & then you can store/carry FIVE cues.:wink: Great case John.
 
Looks like a better everday case then a storage case. Maybe one of these days I will get a custom JB Case!? :D

:-) Soon my friend, soon. You're right though I probably shouldn't have made it out to be just a storage case. It's a great every day case as well.

And for the record the 4x8 has about the same size as most other people's 3x5 cases. In fact, this case is almost exactly the same size as my Murnak 3x5. I take it back, it's smaller because our 4x8 tube fits into the Murnak shell loosely.

So there you go, 25% more capacity in the same amount of space with 25%-100% lower cost than others.

Sorry Scott I missed this question. 32" is the longest part that will fit without any pressure being applied.
