I have never seen a Rambo with the initials carved in the shaft. In addition the pilots on the shafts also do not look like Rambo's work they look like a much newer style, are you certain this cue is a Rambo?

While I am not an expert, I have seen many many Rambo cues over the years and to me this cue doesn't look right. If I were you I would get this cue authenticated Deano Andrews would be a great person to contact.

I contacted Deno and he replied that it is a Rambow possibly been worked on and he needed more pics with measurments I sent it to him a few months ago and cannot get a reply.

Sorry to hear that, but he is a busy man. But, without some type of authentication, explaining what is original and what modifications have been made it is going to be real hard to get what the cue is worth. It is really a shame that some one made changes to the cue, nothing screws up a cues value more.

Good luck I hope things work out for you, it is a nice old cue.
