You're probably better off staying out there. You can play cards all day and you'd probably get more pool action. I'd bet more people would be willing to come to you to play if you lived in Vegas than do now in Ohio. lol.
I don't know what your schedule is like but the Seminole Tour group has a 10 ball tourney in Los Angeles May 29 and 30, 96 players, $150 entry fee, and around $8,000 added at Hollywood Billiards.

If you have an idea of his speed, Bucky Souvanthong played him giving him something like 2 games on the wire to 10 or 11 (close, if not accurate) 10 ball for maybe $300 a set and toasted Pole. Bucky played well, the game is around right, my friend and I wanted to pick up the slack and have Bucky bet at least $1k a set but he demurred.

Rob Pole is a very good player and he helps to promote our sport by being a host room for regional tours. In MHO he honestly loves the game and is a credit to the sport. I have never heard anything negative about him in the way he conducts himself in the pool arena...everything has always been positive and I wish him all the luck in the world for promoting our sport.
