I have no clue but i do know that anytime i have a problem with an item i have to send it back for them to inspect before they will do anything about it and if i'm in a hurry i have to pay for a second item and then send in the defective one for a refund. When's the last time someone called you and said the shaft is warped and you just sent them one without seeing the old one? Your shaft dealer sounds just like someone i would really like to do business with. Knowingly sends you garbage hoping you'll be happy with it and he's a great guy because after he got called on it and sent good ones. I wonder how many other makers just got stuck with the garbage and never complained?
I know lee doesn't like returning money once it's in his pocket but most on here realize this and proceed cautiously. His prices are usually lower than the rest of the market but you have to deal with his idiosyncrasies. If your not happy with that arrangement, just, don't buy anything from him. That's simple enough. As far as him not answering his phone or e-mails, well, that's his prerogative. There's no law that says he has to sell to anyone or be at their beck and call when they decide they want to talk to him. I think people have a lot of gall believing they have a right to tell someone else what hours and how they should be running their business.
I probably stick up for lee more often then i should as it's none of my business but there are 3 or 4 people on this forum who follow him around and post derogatory posts any chance they get and it pisses me off after awhile. They seem to look for any chance to pile on when it's none of their business either. I just seen a thread brought up from the dead that was settled in feb. And the last post was that they had apparently kissed and made up but a poster had to re-open, just to bring it back to life, open it up on one of the posts when they were arguing just to say "wow". This is for no reason except they want to stir up trouble and i have absolutely no use for those types of people.

i took the post the same way, that lee had threatened violence either thru pm or phone, etc. He has hinted at that before to someone, during another back and forth fight of words, like this one, awhile back.
It's just to bad, he has some great products, but not worth the aggravation. There are much better men out there to buy from.

For one that eric wayne keeps emailing me and saying out of the way things so i tell him im not interested in dealing with someone like that no matter what you do you cant satisfy him so why deal with someone like him sometimes money even isnt werth dealing with someone and eric is one of those poeple!!!! So i most certianly did tell him to hit the road
now that dave 38 also likes to jump on when its none of his business he thinks hes so kind of expert and can knock down everything funny i never see any of these guys at the shows anywhere!!!! I spend thousands doing these shows bringing good quality products to my customers what do these few do? Nothing even you dick with some health issues get out and suport me and other vendors i have always apreciated that and look forward to seeing you every show. My ways may be differant but i will stick to guns like with mr brewster his money has been refunded funny he doesnt mention that will see if i get my center back but after what lenoard said i doubt it
i did find out what lenoard said is true ups does have a so called watch list of shady customers a close friend in ups told me this after reading what he said i just had to call and ask .
One thing when the smoke clears i still have the best live centers out there for the money and will continue to help

that was 16 years ago and leonards fault not mine. Leonard bludworth is way out of line and now you are just bashing and making stuff as usual. I have not posted untill now to defend myself. Looks like you have rekindled the flame. If your centers are so great why did you copy them from joe porper? Like i said before you chose all of this not me. You must have wanted me to post otherwise you would have addressed the issue within a reasonable amount of time.
it's funny though, you didn't have a problem taking my money in the past, when i bought stuff and didn't complain about anything. The products are usually fine lee, it's the man behind them that is the issue. I tend to react vocally about people like you that treat their customers badly when they complain about your bad customer service. There have been way too many posts in the past by others about sending you money for payment, and no response to calls, emails, etc. Until they post about it here, then you respond pretty quickly and usually act all rightous, etc. Or how you steal someone else's ideas, etc. And the list goes on. I use to stand up for you a couple of years ago, until i noticed a repeating pattern that actually got worst. As to going to a show to support you??? I don't have the money to go to shows just so i can show that i support you, or anyone else for that matter. I do my supporting using a phone or email to buy goods from suppliers that return calls and emails and act honorably. Recently, even though i knew better, i gave you a chance again, through your ebay store, with the auction of one of your leather wrap kits. The auction had, say we say, some shady shenanigans, before ending with me the winner at max bid, after bidder x bid high then at the last second, canceled their bid. Someone told me that it happens alot on your auctions. They call that shill bidding, so i then read thru your feedback, i saw someone else complaining of the same thing happening to them, that's when i realized you are not the man i want to ever deal with again.
Unfortunatly i don't think you will never understand that you cannot be the way you are and expect no one to complain just because 'you've done so much for the industry', to use your own words. You sell in the public forum, then the public can complain here also, as a warning if nothing else, to newbies that usually only hear how great your products are. A lot of people have had good luck with you, but there are just as many that haven't. Some have spoken up, but some just take the lesson and move on and just don't deal with you.
Sorry if you feel chased on the forum at times, but you open the door yourself. I'm sure you'll keep doing business your way, and so there will be plenty of people chasing you around.

Let me start by saying.......I have no dog in this hunt.
I also have never purchased anything from Lee but have looked at a lot of his stuff and have to say that some of it could be very helpful in the cue building field.
As a person standing on the outside and looking in, I have but one thought at this time.
Lee, when your in any business and dealing customers, you are going to have some that may not be satisfied with what you may have to offer. Whether it be product or service it is your job to make your customers satisfied. Just because someone is not satisfied you can't just blow them off and expect to continue to excel in any business no matter what field your in.
Of course there are always three sides to every story and only you and your customers know what all three are. My thoughts are based on what I've read in this thread.
I believe if you had worked as hard to make your customers satisfied as you have defending yourself in this thread we wouldn't have had to read over half of the posts here.
I hope for future reference you may take that into consideration and your business continues to grows.
