Other one was gay, it takes me two minutes to find an avatar at home but at work everything is blocked, I think I can go to AZ and best buy and thats it lol.

Less than two weeks til the biggest tourney I've seen at Big Dogs whoo hoo...this is my promotional voice!
 
Got to hit balls for the first time without the plastic finger condoms on last night. Bridge was stiff/shaky, but overall not too shabby. It felt good to beat up on my buddy Tim in some bank pool :), especially after he hit a 3 outer A3 against my AQ all in heads up in our lil poker tournament earlier...bastard. But it was soooted he said lol.

Well, not sure what I did to get Wilson after me? Nice "warning" though...I guess being blunt and honest about situations and people, isn't allowed on this public forum. It all revolves around pool, that's why I don't understand. I guess if it becomes personal, I'll send a PM. I think if he knew the situation, he might agree with some of the things I wrote.

Ron, as Jason said, I have asked multiple times, with a NO being the response every time...I don't get why he wouldn't want to play me :) As far as what went on with Scott, that is really none of your business! Thanks for your input though.

Bruce, if I was worried about everyone that didn't like me...nope still don't care.

When I was in college we studied it during an elective I took for psychology. It's actually not a book, it's a long sketch type of comedy. There used to be a ton of youtube clips with the guys doing it, they might still be on there. I remembered it last night randomly while watching the So Cal Ladies tournament and seeing how good a sport those ladies were when they absolutely dogged it. I'm going to check youtube tonight and see if the clips are still there, they were hilarious.

Big 8-Ball tourney coming up guys, I think it would be great if everyone came out. I'm putting my name in the hat to run the calcutta since I know I will be active in it I won't be letting anyone go cheap that can run more than 3 balls in a row! Hopefully someone somewhere wants me to run it, if not me I'd hope for someone like Jason Chance or Jody or someone else who can run their mouth and get the money up for it.

Oh and cross your fingers the Pool4u crew that I've worked with twice just may be coming to stream the event. I think this tournament will be a very good one and I am overly optimistic for it, I dont even like 8-Ball but I agree its the best format for this tourney.

If any of you guys know any good players call them and tell them to come. I've talked to Quad Cities guys, Minnesota guys, and a couple of Kansas City guys, looks like this thing will be loaded with talents and some donkeys like myself to help the draw out!

Really looking forward to this tourney! Should be a good calcutta too!! I vote for Frosty to run it though. I know you could get everyone pumped up! That and we need Jimmy there :)

I would like to run it, we'll see what the powers that be want. No matter who does it, I am looking forward to a great tournament.

Sorry bout that...I wanted to feel like Mr. Wilson for a minute :) No offense!! I don't think he would shut down the thread. It gets better and better all the time! This thread has everything that surrounds pool these days...drama, good pool, pool related questions, action, no action, good vs evil, good tournament results for our area, ideas for better leagues and tournaments, ways to improve pool in Des Moines, talk about the local room, Justin's avatar, tournament announcements, and much, much more!! I don't see any other town in the US able to support there own local thread like we do. Des Moines is a town of very competitive pool players...and we all have issues with each other, in one way or another. That makes it interesting all by itself!!

Ahh, my loyal fan club. You should run for president of it Mikey. As for Nancy Kerriganing (yes, my made up word) my ass, just have Jon do it, he's been looking for a reason to kneecap me, lol.
