ipitythefool, If you won't play with those cues, you posted. Then that mean you won't buy them either. So why should any respectable cuemaker waste their time building those cues.
Since you don't know Dieckman, Then you don't Know what expertise he have in wood carving.
*** I know Dieckman from his work, looking at his cues. I was saying that, for the amount of money he is asking for his cues (send me a 2K check LMAO) I was saying that, you can buy a collectible cue like the ones in the above pic. Those are carom collection cues with lots of labor behind it. I am saying, Dieckman is NOT putting technology in his cues, he is NOT putting hand labor in his cues (correction: he does not have the expertise to do so like the ones in the pic), then what is he asking a $2,000 check for??? Now, if you pool-to-carom converts tell me that you are buying it for his business card (that, he is the USBA pres) I have nothing to say against that. Now, if you want to buy a collection cue, you can buy a cue like the ones in the pic for a fraction of the money he is asking in this side of the world. Now if you want a professional cue with generations and generations of carom cue-making knowledge behind it, you can buy an Adam Blomdahl cue for $1,200, still much less than what he is asking for.
So you ask me what I play with and that I should put its pics instead. I play with the likes of cue like the one in the link below. It is Frederic Caudron v. Tayfun Taşdemir (Taşdemir won this game, btw) It is the cue in hands of Tayfun Taşdemir, it is an Adam Dani Sanchez.
Now, here is a little background story, just to prove that Dickman is WRONG again. He keeps telling that pros play with whoever sponsors them and pays them. And they would play with a broom stick for the money. And that, pros would play with his (dickman) cues if they weren't paid. Now what kind of an idiot are you to think like that, Dieckman? Here is a proof. The player Tayfun Taşdemir (world ranking 8th) is sponsored by Longoni, and the same made a cue in his name (see the link below)
http://www.longonicues.com/cues/24205.htm (it is TT08, made by Longoni for Tayfun) His contract with Longoni came to a halt, and while he was not sponsored by any company, he picked Adam Dani Sanchez cue, to play with! (see the link below)

Now I know, all these Caudron names, Taşdemirs, Zanettis, etc. may not mean much to our American friends. But these are the top pros in today's 3 cushion. It is the truth, just like we have better players (sorry, your Eric Yow, Mike Massey would not qualify lol. You had Sang Lee who passed away, but guess what, he is claimed by the Korean community

we have better cue makers. I am sorry if you were stiffed by Dieckman lol
Show us a Cue you have built, collect, or play with. Or Simple Shut up and go away!!!!!!!!!! No reason to disrespect A man Cue Collection, once you voice your opinion.
.
And to correct you once again: 3Cushion Billiard is American game. Other Carom games might be European. Thank for playing Our game.
*** I guess you are talking about Bob Hoppe or Willie Hoppe or someone like that from black and white movies lol. It is true that along with Europe, it became popular in U.S as well, but it never caught up there. But it seems, those oldies were playing straight carom (what we call carambole here, no rails/cushion) Well, if you guys play the game so well, name me one, but only one player in Top 10 in today's pro rankings?? OK, I change my mind, how about top 20? Maybe if you get some help from Mexicans or Koreans, perhaps you might have one or two names in top 50?

LOL
No, thank YOU for playing our game
