Good video Bill, as always its fun to watch you play. Well there was one thing that puzzled me in your run that I wonder if you executed wrong. At 21:49 you shoot your insurance ball (11 ball) instead of the break ball to open the stack(15 ball). As a result the only shot you had left is the 15 with no insurance ball. You then break the stack with this shot and get stuck with a very tough cut on the 7 up in the far right corner. So I would have initially broke with the 15 and then shot the 11. Also when you did shoot the 15 you hit it with draw and got stuck because of it, I think stun follow would have been better. I am definitely no expert but I am learning and starting to see things that are right and things that are wrong. I see the wrong stuff all the time when I play!!!. :D

You´re right on that one, i would have shot the 15, too and also if i would have played it Bill´s way, i would have hit the 15 as a stun shot to get out to the side rail. We all make mistakes here and there and a lot of times we would have shot some balls different when reviewing the run. Anyway, bill is good enough to make mistakes and pull himself out of trouble, just like me ;)

I wish I could trade tables with you for a month. Your's just plays so nice. Well I am going to put a video up today whether its a 10 ball run or a 30 ball run. So you can let me have it!

I remember that sequence. I was going to shoot the 15 because it was the correct shot, but the 11 was obstructing about 1/8 of the pocket, so instead of shooting the 15 into 7/8 of a pocket ( I usually over cut that shot anyway) I went for the safer route. Good observation on using stun instead of draw on the 15, just a poor decision at the time.

Bill -- what's the shot, which comes up at least once per rack, that you used to (30 years) hit wrong?

Its tough to explain. Its a slight draw shot where you have to alter the natural path of the cue ball so you can avoid collisions and/or hold the cue ball for position.

And how were you hitting it before versus now?
