I love my life!! The bad part about the pool world is that you have to deal with some of the dumbest people ever to walk the face of the earth!! I'm so tired of the bs that comes along with playing this game that I love! Can't believe the issues you can end up having with people over things that have nothing to do with pool! Why is it that we can't just go play pool without all the extra crap?!! It is not necessary and not wanted at all IMO!! Pool is a great game, but people take the fun out of it with their own personal bs!! I don't get it!!! I'm looking forward to playin tomorrow...hopefully drama free!!

I have to say I was impressed with the turnout today! I thought there was good support from our Des Moines players as well as out of town people. I know we were missing a few guys, but I'm sure they will make it to the next one if possible. I think the streaming is great as well!! It might be the best and cheapest advertising in pool!! Hopefully this will lead to more of these tourneys in the future!

On a side note...I was very happy to see Don back in action!!! Thought he played fairly well today.

So I don't get why those guys wouldn't stream the whole tourney? Wouldn't it make sense to stream the finals too?!!

Jimmy "little efren" Nosovan chopped the finals with Pedro...I know he would have won though!!! I am so proud of that kid!! He has arrived, and might just take over :)

I have to say good shootin to a few guys from Des Moines...great job Daniel, Justin, and Jimmy!!! Jimmy I especially liked watching you beat Mike Athens!! :) It's always good to see that look on his face when he loses!! Justin I am impressed as hell with your play this weekend!! Daniel, way to take out Jamie Barraks not once, but twice in the same tourney!!! That is no small feat!!

There were some issues with the tourney though, which need to be corrected if Big Dog's will have another good turnout! Moving people up during a match isn't right! Why wouldn't Jody know this...when you get down to a final 32 or 16, wouldn't you combine brackets? Amateurs!!! Come on guys, do you need lessons on how to do the brackets? I do think however, that next time it will go more smoothly! Great to see the pool4u.com guys here this weekend! They are a good group of guys. I think we should all try and make it down to Olathe for their next event.

Great turnout from Des Moines and everywhere else!! Good to see!

Just heard SVB won the Ultimate 10-ball Championship!! He was down 10-2 and came back and won 12-10!!! Unbelievable how good he really is!!!

This weekend makes me want to disappear but I did learn a lesson...sometimes silence says more than actual words.

With that said Daniel put on a show, Justin played real good, and Jimmy well played like Jimmy can. With that said congrats to those 3 for getting moved up to AA players in case they didn't get the memo. Next handicap tourney that will be all 3 of your rating, I know this because I was told so.

I'm just embarrassed on a lot of levels. No need to elaborate. Silence goes hand in hand with restraint. If I still have the same feelings I do in two weeks, I'll be sure to blast the hell out of some people. For now just calm and silence sounds real nice.

Great tourney Justin!! Did they move you up to a AA now? You have had a pretty good spring so far! You started off with that win of the Midwest 9-ball Championship in MN, and have played great ever since!! Good for you man!!

I posted that like twice JB yes, they moved Justin, Daniel, and Jimmy up from now on. That's a fact. He played good and those huge one game spots helped out greatly on 6-2 wins and 6-4 wins and such.
 
Results?

So I hear DM did well, but what are the actual results? Are they posted anywhere? I haven't hit a ball in four weeks....I feel lost:help:
 
I'm bummed, I had a busy weekend and couldn't make it out to Big Dogs in person. I did catch some of the stream Saturday night and a little on Sunday though. The pool4u group was pretty ticked about some of the handicapping issues involving their group. Were there some people so underrated that they really needed to have their handicap adjusted DURING a match? That just doesn't seem right to me. Anyway, congrats to Justin & Jimmy for the great finishes!
