Thanks for the tip on the horn i have a horn like the one on ebay however mine has the ivory points in the forearm. Anyone interested feel free to sned me a offer keep in mind it will need a refinish as the finish is cracking on the ivory joint. A common problem i hear......jeff

Sorry for the invasion of the thread. I have seen adds on AZ for persons looking for a Verl Horn cue and was thinking of them not realizing that these threads are private advertisments. I was thinking that the threads were more like discussions and sharing information with AZ members.

I believe the comment was more directed towards xplayhardx's comments, not your own (although close). Don't sweat it. Saying you saw another one somewhere is not nearly as bad as saying 'buy mine instead'.
i haven't seen this cue,but Verl was a legend in these parts,very much a character both in gambling and cue making.anyone seeking a piece of history and a good playing cue is well advised to pick up a Horn cue.If you are expecting it to be as nice as a Ron Haley (whom he inspired and worked with in the early days) you will be disappointed.
Verls cues are similar to his cotemporaries such as George Balabusha in design and overall appearance
