I can't for the life of me find it on the BCA site. APA dues are increasing in the Seattle area from $30 to $35 per week. This has got me thinking about some alternatives.

Bonus points if somebody knows about TAP league dues.

Thanks in advance!

Depends

Depends on if the league is sanctioned or not! BCA sanctioned leagues is $15 for the whole year, and you can play in as many BCA sactioned leagues as you want.

From there it is the league that decided how much the dues are, and what it is used for.

The league I ran everyone paid $10 per week for 20 weeks, and that money went to paying the BCA dues, and the rest went back into the league for money prizes, trophies, a banquet, etc.

As far as TAPS I have heard of it, but not sure how their dues work. Sorry!

Player's Fees

Oh if the league is not sanctioned but you still want to be a player member of the BCA it is $25 per year.

How much of the $10 per week goes to BCA dues? Does the remainder go back to players?

Did you not understand what I wrote? BCA dues are $15 for the whole year!

$10 per week for 20 weeks went into the prize fund for cash prizes, trophies, our banquet, etc! (Yes it all went back to the league, and the players)

Plain and simple if the league is Sanctioned the only real dues are $15 per year.

It is each league's discretion on how much they wish to charge per week, and what they are doing with the money. This is why a league normally has a treasurer, operator, secretary, etc

$35 a week!!!!

I hope you mean for a whole team as I pay $7 a week and I think $30 per year.

Pretty decent deal.

$30 one time payment for yearly dues for BCA membership. After that we pay $5.00 per person per week. All of the weekly monies go back into cash payouts. Part to the winning teams and part as payout to end of season tourney.

I pay $8 per scheduled game night and that is only if I play. I think the yearly dues are $25.

I think you are referring to what it cost for a 5 man team per week. I don't know of any league that charges a player $35 per week to play.

We then get $.15 (15 cents) per point paid back plus a whopping $3000 for the team that wins the yearly tournament towards going to Vegas.

Ours is a dollar a game played, so $5 is tops for a night. Team fee is $50 for the year.

In Washington state, they charge an annual $25 membership fee, and $6 each night you play.

Take care
