...that you can just call up and talk to a bonafide pool hall of famer, pro player, and all around nice guy... pretty much any time. Naturally I'm talking about Pat Fleming. I just wrapped up an Accu-stats order (something I need to do more often) on the phone with him, and he was extremely helpful and courteous.

Got some quality matches from the Summer Sale (which has a few events that have never been for sale until now) and Earl's Road Stories (which I was inspired to check out after hearing overhearing the commentators talk about it).

I got a laugh out of the title of Danny D's own road story DVD... "The Wonder Wop". Anyone seen it?

In any case, I'm not usually one for plugs but if it's been a while since your last Accu-stats DVD, stop messing around and get on the site. You know you love that feeling when you open the mailbox and that cardboard box from Jersey is sitting there.

Great post Cree! Nothing wrong at all with plugging Pat Fleming. You won't find a nicer man who has done more to preserve the history of our great sport than Mr. Fleming. Thanks to him and his staff, we're able to watch our favorite players from events that many of us would have had no chance of ever attending. That alone is a lot, but how about genertions from now, having video access to the great champion players he's captured for psoterity!

Something else....look at who he has helped over the years. Billy, Grady, Freddy, Jay, etc.....those guys are held in super-high esteem in part because we got to know them better from their time in the Accu-Stats commentary booth! On their own, they're great enough. Add the prestige that came to them over the years from being associated with Accu-Stats and again, it's just so easy to thank a man like Pat over and over again!
