I haven't seen a It's George style case that looked like that, thanks for sharing!

The cue is quite amazing! I haven't seen very many of this type around. Its quite unique. Very nice TAD!

Bumper is not Tad's on that one BTW.

Also, the case, if anyone has info on it, he will appreciate it.
He got it as going away gift, it's beat up pretty good but gave him some leather cleaner and he's polishing it up right now.

He said he was going to sell it to me for 50. I think he was joking tho...

this is a juicy Tad, I'd love to own it.

Great, I'll be competing with a millionaire to get this cue...

I have my feelers out in Japan to get one back in the states, but it most likely won't happen for two reasons, 1) my feeler is not in the know in Japan billiard circles and 2) it will most likely not be cost effective as TAD cues in Japan sell for a lot more here in the states.

But, it's the hunt that I enjoy.

i think I used to own this cue, did you just get it?

My friend got it in Vegas he traded a Prewitt for it, I was going to buy it but he had already promised to sell it to another guy first, and that guy bought it. It is a very nice cue.

I hate to leave the house without my "guns", but I think both of them look awesome in and out of their new case.
Thanks to Dennis for the nice case - what do you guys think - fits perfectly, or not

I have this great TAD cue and would like to know if the weight can be changed? And how to do it? Do they have a weight bolt? etc.

That's a nice TAD you have there. TAD cues are weighted within the handle section at the front and rear of the handle so that the balance can be adjusted however way needed. This require that the cue be disassembled. I highly recommend that you send the cue to TAD Custom Cues to have the weight adjusted how you want it to be adjusted. It is not advised that weight adjustment be attempted on your own.

Thanks momono! I live in Metro Manila and it would be really difficult for me to ship the cue.

There are competent cue makers here. I wonder if I could let one of them do it. However I really don't want to have that beautiful wrap removed!!!

Thanks

i know it's going to be hard but i wouldn't risk having anyone else do it. if it's worth it to you to have it done it should be worth having it done right!

please don't risk the cue???????!!!!!!!!!! i'll never own it or even have enough to buy it from you. i just hate the idea of great cues being risked.

a friend of mine almost had a beautiful edwin reyes ruined by having someone we both thought could manage it do some repair work. some hack messed it up so he got a good deal on it but getting it repaired was tricker than either of us thought it should have been.

we both learned that if you can't buy the tap for a strange threaded cue it's better to just avoid buying the cue

wow this post ended up as a ramble

Well, I would strong advise against having anyone other than TAD or Fred to make the adjustments. If you are serious about having another cuemaker make an attempt, at least give TAD a call first.
