This is Tims 1st attempt at cue makeing, and it it beatiful. What do you think??? Quilted maple Buckhorn joint and butt . 1 pc. purple heart core , and it hits Great.

Neat! Love that he used the quilted for the rings as well...nice continuity! :thumbup:

Jumped right in with a hell of a piece of wood, didn't he? Agree w/ Lias about the rings.

I think this guy on his first attempt really nailed it. It's flawless..Love that quilted maple..I'm a big fan of great figured woods. Well keep them coming and congrats..

Tim has been collecting wood, very nice wood, for a couple yrs. Hanging it in my shop. He has been doing small stuff on my lathes, and did some coreing for me. Now he has his own lathe , and a bunch of beautiful wood, watch out. He is a perfectionist . Jim

If he can get pieces of Quilted like that I want to know how much he'd charge for the same cue posted with just some minor ring adjustments and Elforyn instead of Elk.

I give it a 10/10 though! I would feel proud to pull that out the case anywhere I go!!!:eek:
