It looks like I am leaving for New Boston, New Hampshire in a week or two. I might be there up to 6 months. Any pool to be played around there?

Best weekly tournament, Wednesday nights Providence Rhode Island. An hour from Boston.

Every other Saturday, World Class Billiards, in Peabody, Mass. Handicapped, $20 entry fee.

Any questions send me a pm.

I would be a little over 2 hours from Providence and an hour from Peabody. I'm not sure yet if I will be staying in New Boston or somewhere near there like Manchester.

How about Concord?

I see the Boston Billiard Club in Nashua...anybody ever been there? Looks decent.

if you do make it down to Providence WorldChampionship is about an hour west of there. I will make sure you get a game and beers are on me.

Will do! Thanks for the offer. I don't know my schedule yet, but the weekends are too short for me to make the 12 hour drive home so I may be able to make it down there.

WorldChampionship is in Manchester CT.

Also if you like casino's you have to check out Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun.

you are lucky that you get to travel and play people all over the country. In your opinion, where have you seen a large amount of strong a to open speed players? I am just curious which part of the country is the best breeding ground for future champions right now.

I just googled it, Foxwoods is about 100 miles from New Boston!!

Foxwoods is the biggest but I think Mohegan Sun is nicer. Also if you play table games Foxwoods doesn't grandfather you at their tables. So if you sit down at a $25 a hand blackjack table and they raise it to $50 your play has to go up with the table stakes.

Just so you know, I don't work for the same company anymore. I am going there to clear a bombing range. I also get to travel doing this though!!

I know the players in Florida were good, Arizona wasn't bad either. It's neat to see the differences though. The part of Texas I was in was mostly bar tables, Arizona and Florida were big tables, but because of the weather they played totally different!

I can't wait to check out the Northeast Scene!

Both World Class Billiards in Peabody, MA and Snookers in Providence, RI are worth checking out. They each have tournaments and there's action to be had in both, depending on what your game is.

There is also a place in Somersworth NH that hosts BCD tournaments for players all across New England.

Busters Billiards
Somersworth, NH

Looks to be a little over an hour away.

Keep me informed too, I like to play and drink beer :D

Sounds good!

You know what, now that I think about it, I may not be too popular up there...I am a LAKER FAN!:D Can we still have a beer together?

LOFL...absolutely man. I have even been known to hang out with Yankees fans. No choice, half my family lives in NY.

Here's how it works... people "from away" are entitled to like whomever they want (however wrong they may be :D ), even the Yankees or Lakers.

It's the home-growns that follow those teams that cause trouble! :p
