Reading between the lines I believe the Seminole Tribe of Florida will be making a bid to run a National men's pro tour. I don't think this is a bad thing, in fact I think they have a good shot at pulling it off. They have a proven track record with thier FL Tour, they pay what they say they will for thier tournaments, they have very deep pockets, own two casino's, and have other sources of profit coming in. If I'm right about them making a move to run a National Tour I hope the pro players are smart enough to jump on board. Johnnyt

Hey Johnny, do you have your new table yet? If so, how do you like it?

I have an oversize 8 which I bought new 40 years ago. It is currently covered with Simonis 760 which I like very much and intend to stick with.

I play on 9's at the pool room and don't notice a lot of difference, but then at my level there isn't a lot of difference.

Keep hittin 'em. As long as you can still hit 'em ya aint dead.

I hope you are right Johnnyt. They have the resources to bring the sport to higher levels.

I have no inside info if this is true or not. I'm basing it on little pieses of info i've heard or read from different sources. I hope I'm right also. I haven't heard anything for awhile about the org. that Johnny A and a few other players were starting...has that fizzed out already? Johnnyt

They have certainly expanded in all directions in the past few years. I enjoyed watching the stop they made in NC last year, and found they run a first class tourney. I hope they can find another room in NC in the upcoming year to host a tourney. I will certainly support the event.
