is there any one on the site that could help me determine the value of a schon.

It would help if you could post some additional information:

How many shafts?

Do they have Ivory or standard ferrules?

Is everything straight?

it has to shafts one is an iv schon and the other is the original.all is strait. cue has one small nik in the but other then that it is in great shape
 
Retail $1134.00 Sells for $850 new.Depends on how old cue is and what shape shafts are in.You said it has nic in butt is it noticeable? Probably start at $600 and go from their.Whats the weight of butt and shafts?
 
ok the nic is not noticeable. the shafts are in good shape . the iv shaft has a cracked ferrule. the cue has a leather wrap. and cue is about a 19.5 oz

I know times are tough on these types of schons.With the shaft issue you maybe in the $500 range IMO.I think it would get close to that on eBay but then you would have fees etc..

I will second that estimated value of $400 to $500 which can be slightly more than an eBay auction final selling price guesstimated at $300 to $450. In other words: What it is worth and how much you can sell it quick for might be slightly different.
 
Does anyone know the original poster of this thread?

I've tried to contact him about this cue and have had no luck. I know the thread is a couple of years old, but it never hurts to try.

I'm trying to find the SL-16 that Peter "Tito" Keanu owned and shot with before his death. He was a extremely great player and the best I've ever personally had the pleasure of losing to.

I'm thinking that Tito's cue would have been sold after his death, in the Tulsa area, possibly in the later 90's?
 
Find a dentist out west.The cue your looking for now has an engraved old English pattern Joint I did about 92.Man it was a buster I went overboard with it.Turned out super nice.Yes those SL series were the thing until they went crazy with the 6 of and 12 of and this stamp and that stamp and chunks of whatever materials they could fit in the cues.I think the SLs are harder to find now for some reason so I go directly for the Rs.Just Grab another SL16 same cue.
 
I have one for sale....?

I have this SL16 I'd be willing to part with, but I don't know much about it. It could use a refinish, the clear is poping at the rings, otherwise it seems nice. I can email, facebook, or text more pics. Thanks
