Ebony cue with brown phenolic

I think it would look good. I've got a lomax that's ebony with brown phenolic. See below

I guess I don't really have a preference.

What do like Darker cues or lighter color ones,,, ?
I like like lighter colors .. To set off the darker wood combo's..

I think a stark contrast and a subtle contrast can both be attractive. Sometimes you just don't know till it's complete. I'll try anything once, just to see how it looks:p

Here's another ebony with a bocote butt cap. Man, I gotta get a better camera:(:sorry:

your Mezz is a better plan a much better plan-keep it and become a champion with it, i dont like brown phonelic on period-lookss likds a circut board misplaced

Brown phenolic will look good or you can use black phenolic use some type of nice maple ring work as well.
