Just felt like sharing. Not my pics...will have to take some more when it gets here. Specs are dead-nuts right for me, and if it's half as nice as the photos, I'll be a happy pool player:

Nice cue Mark. I hope to hit some balls with this if you get the chance to come my way.

I like that cue. Looks like it never touched a ball. Hopefully you'll give it some use.

I'll bring it along if that trip out west works out, Bryan. My first Olivewood cue. REALLY liking the looks of the grain detail. Eric says it's a stiff hitter...so I should be in heaven!! :)

See, all my friends are showing off their Sugaretrees and I have none.

Oh wait, I do have some too. And a couple on the horizon. One may even "curl" your toes...

Seriously, beautiful cue Sir! I hope you enjoy it for many, many years.

Bwahahahaha!!!

Congratulations,
Chris

Danke mucho, Chris.

I'm pretty jazzed about this cue...and equally jazzed to see the one you are getting me for my birthday. Thanks, in advance, by the way. :grin-square:

I think I may try to get one more during VF next year. Maybe a 6-pointer or something along those lines. I'll know the right one when I see it.

Mark <---will send you my mailing address, so the present arrives promptly

Mark.....BRING ALONG ALL OF YOUR CUES!! If you have to leave your wife or one of your kids at home...so be it.

Sugartree

Quick but nice pickup Mark.

Looking forward to some comparisons after you play with it for a while.

Peace

What kind of wood was used in the handle? Thanks for sharing bossman. You must have an inside line on where all these Sugartree cues are hiding out at. lol

Inside line??...Nope. Just got lucky with the timing last night. Moons and stars alignment, and all that jazz....:grin:

The forearm and sleeve are Olivewood. The handle section is Palmwood. Like most ST cues I've seen...the wood selections for this cue seem to compliment each other quite well. Can't wait to see it up close and personal!!

this cue would of been mine if had cd rings....great pickup i bet i plays lights out...congrats on a great cue..

Hey Mark,
Funny, me and Eric were talking about your cue this morning. It will play amazing, guaranteed!!!
That olivewood is awesome.
I can't have olivewood cues... I start crying :crying: because it reminds me home ...
Now Mark... Just run out, that is what you are supposed to do with that gem in your hands.

Thanks much, guys. The cue is inbound to me now...and I can't wait to get it.

The more I look at the pics, the more excited I get to see it in person. Knowing Eric's talent for great wood selection...I bet this thing is gonna look absolutely SICK up close.

More to come, once I get it in-hand.

Have a great weekend, ya'll.

That is a great looking cue and you will love it!

That is probably going to be your best playing cue, Mark. I can't wait to try it!

Might be, Matt...might be. It's in some STRONG company, though.

Give me a call sometime this week, bro. We need to link up for a bit...and this coming weekend might be the last time for awhile that I'll be "local" enough to make it work.

Be good,

M

Just got this bad boy in the mail today...and the pictures (ya'll say it with me) do this cue NO justice at all.

The woods are fantastic compliments to each other, the grain in each section is just SICK, the balance is great...has all the hallmarks of a SugarTree cue.

A BIG "Thanks" to cuehobby for turning this one over to me. He was a pleasure to talk to and deal with. Shipped it out fast as hell, too. Thanks much, Bryan.

Mark <---happy to have a ST, once again
