Can anyone point me in the right direction of a fairly priced digital ounces scale that can weigh shafts and butts!! Thanks in advance.

Harbor Freight, less than $20. Uses batteries or A/C. Put a piece of bunched up tape on the tray to keep the butt or shaft(s) from rolling off.

walleymart has postal scales digital for about $20
I would also check eBay, there is always a large selection on there for a good price.
