Ok well I was looking for a wrapless SW an had a few offers but nothing that really wow'd me, so the next thing I'm looking for is anybody that has a spot coming up for a new SW they would like to sell! If you have one thats coming up this year let me know an we will try to make a deal...
Let the games begin.....

Even if you buy a spot the cue has to be ordered thru the original person, and will go out in his name. Laurie will not transfer name.

Good luck:thumbup:

Zirroe's wrapless SW is about perfect....i think you are bluffing, gl wasting everyones time :)

Why are you posting this? He could choose to spend his money as he sees fit.

Why would anyone sell their spot that's coming up THIS YEAR??

After waiting 9.8 years, they change their mind??

I also would like to buy something - a brand new Ferrari for under 20K.

Equally likely......

Few years back what use to happen was if you get on the list they quoted the price and charged the same price when your turn comes up after 9 or 10 years.
Now they have changed the system, they will put you on list but quote u price only when your turn comes on the current pricing.

Many people whose turn comes now might have stopped playing after 10 years. so they wont want to buy an expensive cue, so they might sell the spot for few dollars.

Good response! We don't need these threads that get turned into a pi$$ing contest. Hope you find a wrapless SW that really floats your boat sir!!!

Thanks again Monto, that is what I am hoping will happen, alot of people's priorities change over 9-10 years! So instead of passing their spot up, why not make a few bucks to place a few phone calls?? I know people who get calls from Laurie saying that someone cant come up with the cash for so an so cue would you like to buy it! This happens more often than you think! Thanks to you too Bob! I asked a simple question an all the haters come out of the woodwork! Im not asking for a miracle, just a unwanted spot, you dont know until you ask!!!!

JimmyD has the right idea. Punchout is just not as bright as you.

It's a good transaction for both ends. Someone who is willing to sell their spot will make some $$ and you get the exact cue you want. I think it's a fair deal. I offered this a few years back and the transaction came out perfect.

If there's another spot for sale please contact me as well but only when JimmyD gets his spot first=P

I think what bob is saying that, you buy spot from someone and cues goes to them and if some misunderstanding occur we will have a thread about the issue. It is not about this thread. I think that is what he means. I could be wrong though.

I fully understand selling SW spots - my point wasn't an attempt to be aazzzhole or hater. It's that there's 3-months left in the year so Laurie would have already notified the person of their ETA.

Most, if not all, SW spots are sold 9-18 months out, not 1-3.

That's all.

GL with your search.

Those people can simpley ask to have thier name removed from the wait list.

Selling spots will just get more flippers to say add me to the list Laurie. Then they will just sell thier spot.
BS.

Love my SW, but didn't get on the list 20 yrs ago when it was still long wait. Prolly not gonna get on the list now with a 10 yr wait.

I know a guy in that situation. His spots come up anytime now. It's been 8 years or so. How much you offering?

southwest spot

Jimmy is doesn't waste anyones time! He pays cash and when he finds something he wants he gets it. So nobody should be bad mouthing him!!!

PM's replied too.

I think the spots are pretty much gone now. Thanks.

OP, I just sent an email with a link to this thread to a friend. He was asking me a couple of weeks ago if I wanted one of his spots on the waiting list. His name is Al.

good luck,

G.
