I was also on the receiving end of it. I was playing Dave Daya tonight and was fortunate enough to make 7 balls off the opening break before he started his run. It ended at 173 when he got out of line on a break shot. He's getting ready for World's and I got to be his punching bag tonight.

When we met Dave at valley forge 14.1 challenge we witnessed alot of his old school technology, I knew then that he really had game.

I would of really loved to be in your seat there, to bad you guys don't play in front of a camera !

Can't wait to meet up with Dave and congratulate him at the worlds, and glad to hear that he is gearing up and going in stroke !

I decided to go to Ashland on a spur of the moment last night and didn't have my camera with me. I've told him that I want to film a run, but that I'd want at least a 200 out of him.

Oh well, I can't be too upset. I got to see some world-class 14.1 first hand, loads of pointers, and I'm now in some good company (Joe Balsis, Mike Zuglan, etc.)

Nice. It must be great to be able to witness these runs first hand and get to talk to him about them.

I'm glad to hear he will be at the World's this year. He went 6-0 in the Round Robin part in 2008 but did not show up in 2009. Nice patterns.

I hope World's are streamed this year.

I won't be able to make it. But my good friend and fellow poster Ron F plans on attending.

Cool. The more the merrier. There is a rumor that STevekur1 might be in attendance as well.

Marop, SeanFLeinen, Forumghost, and numerous other AZB dignitaries.

Accu-stats will be streaming the tv table with Danny Diliberto (health permitting) again providing stellar commentary. I am not sure who will be with him but it may rotate. It costs a little to watch but it is well worth it. Last year you had some 100 ball runs on that tv table.

14.1 straight pool relaxing instead of playing

decided to play some pool on a monday night instead of watching football game i racked them up kevin clark played the safe i made 12 then he made me sit to watch 274. Until he ended up getting tied up with no shot should have taken first choice to watch the game instead of racking

Kevin Clark from Cosmo's in Scranton?

If you're talking about the same Kevin Clark that I am, then you were probably playing at his place (Cosmo's) which means that 274 was on a Diamond which is very impressive. What would be even more impressive is if you were playing on one of the triple-shimmed Diamond's there.

I CAN'T WAIT FOR OCTOBER 8TH TO GET HERE!
Yeah, I'll be there Friday, Saturday and part of Sunday. Attended last year and it was a really, really good time. I sure will miss Comet, though. Do all you guys that are going have rooms already? Any idea if :no vacancy" may be a possibility? I believe there's only 2 hotels nearby, no?

The first table at Cosmo's has 4" corner pockets. 2 and 3 are slightly larger. The rest of the tables are normal, non-shimmed Diamonds.
