mezz or lucasi hybrid

Not sure if this thread goes here, but here goes. Im trying to decide between a mezz and a lucasi hybrid. Please someone tell me which one and why you think so. i dont know how to do the poll, so i just put it in plain text. thanks in advance for any and all inputs.

the butt of the hybrid pro cue looks real hokey imo. the shaft taper looks comfortable though. i saw some guy playing with one and it didn't look like it buckled even though it had a pretty long taper.

i learned to play with a mezz and in japan so i was always going to say get a mezz. i don't think you'd be unhappy with either though.
