I have been collecting box's of cue tips for a few years, I thought I would share them with the forum.

Oh and if anyone has any old box's of cue tips that they want to sell please send me a photo, and a price through PM.

wow thats strong. dont ever break that collection up. That might be the best collection of tip boxes ever. I sure would like to go back 100 years, 50 years and see pool for a month during those different periods. it pisses me off the old stuff dosent have a voice and there is no real record of anything-it todays era there is a record but we will all be dead before its "historical" in its own nature.

The best part is that most of the box's are still full, so when I restore an antique I also in most cases put a period tip on the cue to complete the restoration.

Thanks for the comments

I'm diggin those bulldog tips, very cool collection Craig.

Those tips were produced for Brunswick, I think they were imported from France. It is hard to see but there are actually two box's of those tips the one box is clearly visible and they are from the late 40's. The Box above that Box is also Bull Dog Tips and they are from the 1920's, don't know if they were made by the same company or not, but both styles are listed in old Brunswick catalog's and that is how I dated them.

Thanks for your post

Just curious of which one of those old tips is your favorite?

Tony, I kinda like the small round box they were made in France in the 1870's or 1880's. They are the oldest tips I have ever seen anywhere, I doubt I will ever find any older, and the box is still full.

Take care
