Just had 860 cloth installed on my Olhausen, 9ft'er, By a top mechanic here. How come it plays so much different off the rails then the Championship 3030??? He says because it's just new and will become true'r with more time.
Thanks for any info,

860 or 860HR ?

Is it 860 or 860HR? If it is regular 860 it tends to let the ball slide more for a couple of weeks. 860HR I haven't noticed as much slide on my table.

Thanks Poolhalljunkie, I'll check with the mechanic, he picked it up for me. But for all the slide it does you probably hit the nail on the head. (860) .... What does the HR stand for?

860 HR I think originally stood for Humidity Resistant but they changed it to stand for High Resistant after they noticed different wear characteristics. At least that's what I remember reading. I believe it is a bit faster than regular 860 but doesn't show ball marks as badly and doesn't have a break in period that some people see in regular 860. Once again, I'm no pro, so take this for what it's worth. :)
